[MOD] LF2 - Path of Evolutions

Wooty! Long time no see to all members! So , HI! ( a very crapy starting to the post. Now back to business )

I was not posting in the forums for quite a while since I was busy studieng PHP,HTML,CSS and Physics as they eat my head and I hate doing them.

So I came across an idea of creating a mod. A really advanced and spectacular one. I started off basically with the bitmaps of the mod and I'm very proud with my work. I wanted a very "evolution-like look" to the mod so my selected ( main ) color was a dark+sky blue. Here are some of the bitmaps I done.

Take the download link. OF COURSE. And remember to click on the orange small button that says " Download " on the right of the file size.

And so far I'm going to first finish bitmaps and other .exe stuff before I procceed to characters as I am willing to draw every single one of them from scratch. ( I've got a pretty deicent drawing talent u know )

So far the credits to the things/people that are helping me out or I have been using them:

Questions/Regards are welcome. I hate critisezem. But, if you're filled with it, go ahead and let it out.

Any thoughts of this work or any help of similar problems envolving bitmaps are allowed aswell. As I can make 10X better ones for u if u desire it.

Nice, and fresh bitmaps! but its a little bit confusing on the tournament menu(for me).

Well, that's an interesting concept! Besides, there's a spelling error in the tournament-resource: "controll" should have only one "l" :P
There's actually a reason why many skins are single colored. Wonder why? Well, the _s-pics have a certain, solid background color. It just doesn't look too nice on a funky background

Well nice work, even if I thought that those bitmaps are from Your chars or something.

Now I'm just waiting for mp/hp bitmaps. :P

and nice concept but i wonder if you could use ultimate patcher to let lf2 take pngs and then you can make baxckground transparent?

In my first post of the thread, I gave the credits of the people who helped and the programs I am using. So I gave the program I'm using to make the bitmaps a special credit for doing basically pretty much 78% of the work. That's why I started the credit with " the most best ".

I gave the championship a flashy design like so X shape lights are on. So it's basically like " the lights are on and the croud goes wild!!! So get ready to RUMBLE!!!!! ".

And plus since all of the menus in the championship are stuck together, it gives it a confusing look. When I hopefully finish the mod and release it, the menus will be alot clear when u play the game.

Now I'm just waiting for mp/hp bitmaps.

I made some more bitmaps. And plus they have the hp and mp bars aswell.

Woohooo! 90% done with the bitmaps! I started the background music aswell and I've gotten one soundtrack for the main theme. I tried it and it works PERFECTLY. It starts off a bit calm and then goes completely Techno. The soundtracks name is Sandstorm. And the artist name is Darude.

Slogan is " You're the man now dog! "

I've thought of one char and his name is Vincent. Kinda like " the badguy party leader ". He has hair that resembles both Cloud's ( FF7 Advent Children ) and Black Cat ( Manga Show on Animax ). He has Choclate-Brown Hair color and one metal ( Robotical arm that he uses more in combat since he can produce a dark shadow energy from it.

Other char is a badguy aswell and his name Van. A guy who wears black sunglasses ( kinda on the Police brand. Such as the glasses I'm wearing! ). A body-warmer vest and hair similar to henrys.

I would be liking some more opinions on the chars , backgrounds , weapons etc..

PS : Use your imagination if u want to give me tips! XD

Like I said in the very first post of the thread, a dramatic program that allows me to create 2D and 3D artworks and other stuff without getting myself tangled up to hard. Yeah it's tough finding the right designs for each and every single bitmap but if I'm gonna make the " one and only " mod , I'm gonna have to try hard!

I've been thinking about the " final boss battle " theme song and Magician from House of The Dead 2 is just my pick. The theme song when u battle him is just so CRAZY AND AWESOME!!! It starts off a one loud starting that wakes you up and tells u " The final boss is here! Drink your Star Bucks Moca and get ready coz this guy is gonna knock the bulbs out of u! XD ".

But it will go perfect.

And what about stage 5's theme song ? I've been planning to give the Star Wars theme song " Dual of the Faiths " which is used in the battle between Qui-Gon , Obi-Wan vr. Darth Mual. It just gives that spiritual feeling to you. Other wise I'm going with the theme song when Cloud battles Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children. That has a holy feeling in it as well.

And for stage 1 , the theme song in which Yazoo and Loz battle Cloud in the tunnel on there motor cycles ( also in Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children ).
