LF2 not Starting

I have a problem. Whenever I try to start LF2 It gives the following error both in Vista and XP:
"The Application failed to start because it's side by side configuration is incorrect. Please refer to the application log for more details."

Since then I have tried several reinstalls and also installed Visual C++ Redist 2008 version 9.0(I had read somewhere that this fixes the problem) but still no luck.

Please Help.

You did installed that one. right? or not? It should work.You should look at the sticky topics. Silva gave that link to slove that problem.Sorry if i told you something you may tried.

Yeah I figured it out after I posted here. I had installed the 2008 redist while it used 2005 redist.
Anyway thanks.
