to the programs:i think you should check out both programs "photofiltre and photoshop"then check out what is easy for you we can't tell you that because it will be our own opinion.

For your trouble this is a great problem for Vista users. I myself had several of my discs ruined.

To solve this when ever you put in a blank disc click on show formatting options. It will have two options.
1st Option: Mastered Burn: Something like writing a USB flash drive.
2nd Option: Don't remember it's name but you should use this one. Mastered burn is selected by default.

If you don't want to do this every time just get a DVD writing Software. I use ImgBurn.

And I think I was the only one to vote for photofiltre. No Doubt, Photoshop is a good program, but the no. of options in it make me sick.

Well, PS is used to make details sprite (if you have nothing to do) and photofilter is for something like "fast food". No time consuming and kind of tasty but it'll make you fat (WTH am I saying?).

Anyways, I use GIMP and paint so I can't make up decision for you.

Ask for the drive problem, try yahoo ask&answer.

to be honest .. i use both programms..
i use photofilter studio for spriting and photoshop for the editing photos, making sigs, banners w/e and sometimes for detailed spriting..
