Is it safe to buy phones from China?
#1
Hey guy, anyone has the experiences of buying phones from China? Is it safe or risky? Do I need to pay a lot of customs taxes?
One of my friends from Spain once ordered several phones from this web site, “www.mobigarden.com “, he said the price is cheap and it is fast, but I am still worried, anyone also ordered from this site? I hope someone can give me suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I could say the same as in the last thread.
Posting this on >sitefrost< is enough; there is absolutely no need to ask the same on LFE. And this seriously gets on my nerves. Same with your accounts. What is so hard to use only one?

short answer:
no
i went there a few months ago, and my friends bought electronic stuff, and most of them broke or were fake. I was a lucky one when i bought a nintendo DS as a present for my sister, and that is still working.
DEFINATELY DO NOT BUY AN iPhone over there. that is almost guaranteed to be fake.

but yeah, buying stuff offline is also a risky business.

i've never been there (or buying phones from china) but i don't guarantee that products from china are not broken though. remember that not all cheap things are best for you.
off-topic: i read a comic about phones and some phones from china make your ear hot (i hope that's only a joke).
