I'm going to say what everyone else is thinking - THIS IS POOR.
Not only is it just a character edit, it's poorly done recolour wise - You just hued everything. And, you hued it all so it is out of synchronisation too.
There is nothing here that i would bother calling a character. Take a look at Hacker's post on how BAD it is to just see recoloured characters. You've not added any moves, you've probably changed what? 3-4 lines of data changing at the best.
So here is my rating: -10/10. It's poorly done and probably wasn't worth the second it took to make it. I'm not trying to be mean here, but it is just Julian with a bad colour change and bad move colour alterations. Red ice for example, and his explosion changes colours extremely rapidly, without any form of transfusion into them.
So here's my advice, add a new move, change a feature. Do not use colours that look pretty sickly, it does not rest easy on anyone's eyes. This is nothing new.
If you want to do a recolour, look at Alblaka's work as an example. He has made an effort to change the sprites for the better and made an effort to DC NEW moves. He is a prime example of how to edit a character.
Sorry, but sometimes honesty is the only way forwards.
One day, I shall become, TUTORIAL-MAN: Superhero of writing overly long, overly annoying tutorials which most people probably won't read, but will give it a stab at the first 5 lines!
