don't blur then
(I avoid blur as much as sharpen, because pure old school sprites are the best)

Mind re-uploading it somewhere else?

I actually don't really get why you first shade the body and then later draw the clothes over it, but well. Other than that it's an easily followable tut.
However, the hair could need a few touch-ups. I'm not familar with Paint.net, but it often helps to first draw the hair and then erase some stuff to create "peaks".
Additionally, the eyes part coud require some explanation. I fell like that whole part - head, hair, eyes - creates the most difficulties for beginner spriters, so concentrating a bit more on that would be very nice.

v: Lol, that seems like an auto-function of my brain. I just write MS-paint when it has anything to do with paint. Doesn't matter, I'm not familiar with either of them.

then i'll just explain the difficulties it "creates" ;)
1) most important of all, Paint.Net, unlike other graphic programs, does not have a blur tool. instead, it comes with a blur function that blurs a selected area. most of the time a bad thing.
2) no burn/dodge. on the bright side, the more advanced spriters don't use it
3) the paintbrush doesn't have as much anti-alias as other programs, thus needing the blur tool.

in comparison to GIMP, however, it has some advantages...
1) it doesn't confuse people with the "rbg" or "indexed" mode.
2) loads a damn lot faster :p
3) the fact that right-click is secondary colour and not options
4) all windows are always shown, so you don't hafta click the toolbar every time you want to change colours/etc
5) it looks cool- icon, interface, etc. :D

(btw back to topic)
ok... well, seems to me that i'm lacking some detail atm, so i guess i'll just sprite more, get some more experience, and reredo this one. :D
