[CHAR] Striker

Just a random project coming to my mind and being finished rather quick.
Wanted to do a electric themed character and since i haven't made any bandits up to now, here we go with STRIKER.

The sprites are recolorations of Bandit... HOWEVER i made several new and modified sprites with my new ultimate sprite-lightnings-for-dummys technique... Going to write a tut about it, too ^^
In contrast to my most char, this one doesn't concentrate on a new special DC thingy. Though he still has a little DC tweek regarding one of his moves...

As well comes with the new awesome CHAI, which permits AI-controlled Strikers to use their special moves accordingly. Be prepared for electric onslaught!

Alright, played it.

I'll give it a 8-9/10. Purely because the lightning sprites weren't the most awesome. Enjoyed playing it and will upload a video of it soon. Good stuff Ablaka.

I haven't enjoyed an LF2 char so much in a long time (but then again, I've haven't been trying so many).
Man Alblaka, your DC creations are amazing! There are always special combos to figure out. This char especially (with his Chidoris. I haven't figured out the very last one though).

Couldn't help but look at the readme.
I like how you can use opponents' Njushin (I thought the japanese word for clone was Bunshin).

Jep, it IS Bunshin... but regular "Bunshins" are just distractions, not capable of taking more then one hit and in many cases not even able to harm enemies.
But these NJUshin can act completely on their own (though weaker then the original) and can evenaccumulate further energy by their own.


However, using opponents Njushin is rather a bug then a feature o.o

Yes, actually i couldn't decide whether the ball is supposed to stun enemies or to push them back... so i implemented both with that random result XD

Nope, that attack deals about double'd damage ^^
Though, it's difficult to deal "damage" (not just small hits) with the JA either way XD

It doesn't, actually i though about further nerfing it...
Rudolph clones taker 350 mp... these clones take some more, since they will usually not die on the first hit (but on the other side rarely use special moves > weaker attack then rudolph clones)

Can't be solved, teleport states HAVE shadows... ^^

Actually the time frame to get hit is ludicrous small (it was 2fps i think)... only bots can hit you o.o

Uhm, not really...
I was thinking about a lightning char and after seeing yours i got the diea of making a Bandit-lightning chars.
Besides that, i didn't take anything from you, i guess ^^

Whoops, I forgot to comment on the great Albaka's work. So here comes I!
Zap-nothing to comment, other than it's ugliness.
Charge mode- the sprites are sometimes inconsistent. Like when he punches, the lightning sprites on his other hand disappear.
Rai Njushin-okay, I suppose.
Zapper- Nice move. I love it. Orginality is all.
Hyadori-Meh. Nothing to say.
Chidori-Nice idea with the clone gathering energy idea. Though a) the clone takes too long to charge and b) certain chars will never allow to use it. Henry's super arrow coming-kiss your clone goodbye.
Dabu Chidori-Even harder to use, but it pays off good. Nice idea again.
Kajo Ichidori-Awesome! I did that with items lying everywhere an I nearly killed myself. Though the purple explosion at the end doesn't fit striker.
Overall-superbly original, excellent DCing. But, as usual, fail sprites XD. Another piece of quality work. Not disappointed.
