for some reason the itr doesnt hurt the opp.

any clues?

You press A for the attack, but after a few (3?) frames the a-press is still "active" directing you to 89 as soon as you enter 87.
> skips 87 and 88, both the dmging frames.


At least that's the only thing i could find in there which could be a problem...

And that's right. The original run attack has 3 frames before the hit_a, yours only 1 (after all, you changed the wait values). So technically the attack button is still pressed.
