Time to get excited. Or depressed. Or whatever you tend to do when you find out a ridiculously high quality BG is being released.

But whatever you do, all of you should be wetting your pants - assuming you are wearing one of course - because there are some big names here.

It's almost like 1 + 1 really, as BP is the synonym for THE APOCALYPSE and Marshall pretty much symbolises cool backgrounds for LF2. Hence we get an Apocalyptically Awesome BG. Now throw in spriter/visionaire chishio, my old partner Mugen22 and LFE's all-time favourite GM Yakui (aka nesnoodle), I can bet your hairy arse that even your next door neighbour would be soiling himself if he hears this.

just reading the names invoked pure awesomeness in me. Good thing is that i already was lying in bed when i read this otherwise i would have fallen from my chair. I was astonished when i just opened the thread and then read a typical marshall-speech. Throwing that together with an fitting screenshot and someone already opened the door to the world of the awesome, without even downloading it. If elitists like you would cooperate more often, nobody would doubt the awesomeness of bgs.

Really nice background but why havent u used the version that i saw on youtube? clicky
It looks way better without all these scribbled black lines all over the bg.

some things i noticed while playing:
- the effect with the angel like figure falling from the sky and blasting u away is really awesome but if u hit the figure once it has no effect on u anymore and if u hit it a few more times it just disappears without doing anything
- also it does nearly no damage to armored fighters like louis, knight or julian and they don't fall on the ground

Nonetheless this is still an amazing background and i hope to see more collaborations of u two.

It was spontaneous really. I picked up where Cirno and mugen left off, seeked BP for help with the dynamic effects and hey presto!The schizophrenic sprite that they did was added

Phenominal... I mean absolutely outstanding piece of work here. I believe you, BP, Mugen and Chishio should give yourselves an uber big pat on the back. It looks amazing.

But... For the sake of MH at a later date, any possibility to write a Description within this thread for the background. No doubt someone'll vote it to be put on the mainsite and this would be a hell of alot easier of MH-Workaholic-Razen and whoever helps him... I know for one the pain it took me to look at all your beautiful backgrounds Marshall and witnessing only the smallest few having a description.

Back on topic, I would give you a Massive Eddie Reward Gold Star... but I simply cannot find my pack of stars. You can make do for now Marshall, I'm sure it won't hurt?
