sound error
#1
i changed the bgm sounds + hexed the sound path. it loads perfect without any error messages. when i test it, it says "Could not create a filter graph for this file!"

Hmmm... If you just want to replace the sounds, you could just replace the old background music files with your new ones ^^ Much easier then HEXing. (And would therefore solve your problem ;) )

Btw, why didn't you upload all the files at once (probably even zipped).

i wanted all sound files in one folder. thats why i hexed it

Imo this sounds like
1. Wrong file format
2. Corrupted file (may got damaged while changing format)

it could be a sound card problem, which cannot really be solved as far as I know

@Alblaka i used same converter for all files (without menu sounds like ok, join, cancel, etc)
@Marshall did you try the stuff i uploaded? if it works for other, then it means vista/soundcard. i have a bad video card but i rly dont know/think the problem is caused by it

no, I did not. But I have the same "Could not create a filter graph for this file!" error after adding the dll source code. Silva thinks it's a soundcard / graphics card error on my laptop. Since your case it's to do with sound, then it should be a soundcard issue

Maybe you should try to convert the files into .wma, I got it to work that way.
