Bscly, I think you'd get dirty black pixels in game with this tut? Have you considered that, or am I mistaken?

Really nice tutorial you have got there design!
Although somehow it doesn't look too much like flames. 
Good man! Great for making spray effects with any colour.

dont blur with soft blur or filters just do it with blur tool IN the CENTRE.. And for body add glow using soft and less opacity brush tada! and u are done.
