[solved] Ball direction problem
#1
[Image: problm-1.png]
Davis' can shoot his blasts straight, up and down.
Henry can blast his windpush only straight.
Why?
I have checked Henry's data but i don't see any dvz or state difference preferred to Davis' data :/ i also checked the Henry_wind.dat and didn't find anything there either.
Is this smthing more complicated or am i blind cuz i don't think this should be anything hard :/
E. Whoa, i didn't know that even when i use state 3005 kinda often xp
Might be back, might be not :^) anyways awesome to see you guys again!

It should be because of state: 3005. Anything cannot be made go on a different z-axis if it is state: 3005.

Basically, Davis uses hit_j in his 3 (?) separate balls, while henry_wind doesn't :p

He actually means the "up/down" controlable z-movement when creating a ball.

Not sure if it bases on state 3005, but I know that sometimes it's id-specific. Like, try giving the Firzen Cannon move to another character, who would then be able to control its z movement, although Firzen can't.

(That is IIRC.)

@Simoneon
Thats true. state: 3005 might bend if given a hit_j . Otherwise it wont bend.

So if U want it to move left and right.you should use state 3000.and if U want it only straight it should be state 3005 or 3006.If U want state 3000 without turning U can easily put dvx: 550

Well, i don't know what you are talking but that state: 3005 was perfect for this ''ball'' (you will know more when i update the Bonu thread ;) )

Actually Cleric has a couple of blastpush move, all of them can be shifted up/down.
HOWEVER, as blastpush's travel with dvx 40, you will probably not notice ANY difference at all if you shift them up/down...

Or it's ID coded.

The 3005'er theory is rubbish, though.

3005 can't be moved up/down (z)
3000, 3006 can be moved up/down (z)

firzen's cannon id can't be moved up/down (z)

hit_j: 50 stops z movement; maybe you need dvz: 550
hit_j: 1~49 has constant upward movement (z)
hit_j: 51~99 has constant downward movement (z)
