Page problem

Dear LFE,
I have search some posts in a thread, but there's a tiny problem. When the thread has 300 pages, and I want to open page 150, I have to start off like this:
pg7-pg15-pg24......., it's really hard and waste time.
Also, I think there should be a tab for changing something in a old thread. Example:
I made a char, then I made a post saying "I have change......", the post will be gone because other member post others, so the members that log in later won't know whether the project has changed yet. The project might be changed and released, but other members who are waiting for the announcement won't know.

For the first problem, you can check the link. For example:

Just change page=31 into whichever page you want to see.

Check the address-bar. It should look something like

In order to quickly jump to the exact page, you can simply enter the page-number after the "page=" attribute.

I do not quite get your problem. When you bump your thread (regardless of others posting anywhere), it'll be visible when one searches for new posts (aka. http://www.lf-empire.de/forum/search.php?action=getnew ). Care to elaborate?

The second problem, I'm not sure where the link is, but what it's show is only some new posts, what if the post disappear because someone reply to another thread in the SAME tab. Gone, right?:P

You see, below the ''Welcome back, Hero destroyer'' there's ''View New Posts''. It shows all the new posts. Click it and you'll see

If I am correct, you want the "New Posts" section at the Forum Index to be updated with a post after you edit it?
