Screwed up way of working in photoshop.
#1
Hi guys.
I am using Photoshop cs-5.
When i installed it, everything worked fine. For while i was using it, i screwed up something and disrupted few functions in Photoshop.
I don't know what the ... i did.
I would be grateful if you help me

First problem is with "Eyedropper tool":
When i am point the cursor on the place which i want and press/holding "Left button" on the mouse, it registered as the 2nd color.

but i want that it register as the 1st color... (here is gray..1st color)..
-At he beginning it registered as 1st color.. now it doesn't want to.
Can i somehow change that again? Please help me :)

after some time i will post other problems...

Just tried to recreate your issues.

Usually, I am in Brush-mode and select the primary color via [Alt]. Thus, I won't have to switch tools so often.
When I'm in Color-Picker-mode, it selects anything as the primary color as long as [Alt] is not pressed. In case it is, it'll choose the secondary color.

Note that I'm using CS3; but I highly doubt that Adobe changed the behavior of that tool so weirdly.

you can't really set it in the settings. The only way i can think of is that your "alt"-key is stuck (thus always setting the color to the second one), so try to press it a couple of times or try a different keyboard.
Otherwise you can check your keyboard settings of your OS, maybe something is messed up there (if possible set them to default then).

Last bet is to reinstall photoshop, but that's the last resort (by Papa roach).

edit: oh god ninja'd. Well i use photoshop cs5 too but never had the issue.

If you haven't changed a lot of settings on your own and usually went with the standard settings why not just reset them? (no reinstall required)

on previous versions you had to hold ctrl+alt+shift while starting the program and confirm the alert - pretty simple fix in case you really did screw up settings somehow

Okay second "problem"...
I have two computers an' on both computers i have installed photoshop.. Old and new one.
The new works "normally", (customized the way I want) but the old computer is not customized how i want, so..(again i don't know how to adapt it) problem is in zoom tool:
i know how to zoom out and zoom in picture(simplest way..with pressing left button...).. but there are few tricks.. 1st- with cursor (you are already in zoom tool) select the space you wanna in "big frame" (zoom in)^^.. and i dont want that system ..It bothers me because sometimes when i am drawing on the really huge picture (on the old computer) i accidentally select a little space an' everything starts laggy then... aaaagh Mad 2
I want put away this dashed lines and instead that put 2nd trick...
It's hard to explain hows 2nd works, but i will give my best..
Press and then hold left button mouse and then when moves your mouse on the right side of the screen, Picture automatically increases gradually... opposite for the left side. I hope you understand me.
How can i customize it?
Thanks :)

uh.. i didn't quite get your way, but why don't you use this way: press alt and then scroll on your mouse to zoom in and out. (you don't have to select zoom tool, it works everywhere). I don't remember customizing anything so i assume this is standard (i have cs5 too)
