How to Livestream on LFE
#1
Here is a few easy steps to stream on LFE:

Download FFSplit CLICK

Just go to the 'Capture' tab.
1. a. Set Video Source to FFSplit Overlay. Click on Settings besides it. Go to Region tab in the pop out window, click on 'Click on Window' and click on LF2 window. Note: Don't move your LF2 window afterwards.
b. Set Microphone Source to none if you don't want to be heard.
2. Set Video Bit Rate to about 75% of your upload speed (you can test at speedtest.net)
3. Check Stream then click Setup next to it. Just click Auto for the Server, and paste the LFE Stream Key on the Stream Key field (you have to ask... Doix? Blue Phoenix..? for the stream key).

That's all. When you click Start, anything in the area of your LF2 window will be streamed and we can watch it live.
In case I missed something, you can always check the FFSplit guide --> click

I (and I believe some others) will make sure to watch any livestream videos, if not live :P . Need something to watch while having my lunch.

Is there any good full-speed players who haven't been thriving due to FPS Changer? Livestream is the best bet to proof you're playing full speed :P .

Great tutorial Kevin! If I may add something, our main sponsor, who has been funding this stream from the ground up, insists on one small thing: something along the lines of "Proudly sponsored and presented by lf2replays.appspot.com" should be prominently displayed on the screen.
They'd also love it if you could show this animation, either beside the LF2 window or overlayed right onto the action: [Image: DUlBYAs.gif]
You can use OBS (link) to do these effects.

You should ask kevin for his key, not me or BP. We don't have time to verify the legitimacy of every request and if we hand out our key then it's a pain in the a** to change. Kevin has a different key for the channel, essentially making him responsible for everyone that wants to stream. If anyone starts streaming garbage on the channel then kevin + everyone kevin gave the key to will have access revoked. That is the system. Not slept, hopefully that makes sense.

What's your upload speed? D:
I tested with a stable 0.2 MB/s upload speed, it's still (for me) enjoyable to watch. I can let you test livestream in my useless twitch channel if you want.

I might stream something at some point. Considering I have a 30mbps upload speed I might as well put it to good use.
It will however most likely not involve playing the actual game since I am pretty darn horrible at that, but more likely modifying it. (explaining the mechanics behind Data Changing and Hex Editing etc.)
Edit: Post #500 BTW.
Hex Editing should be Assembly Level Modification if I am not mistaken but since everyone here calls it Hex Editing I'll go with that for now.
Age ratings for movies and games (and similar) have never been a good idea.
One can learn a lot from reinventing wheels.
An unsound argument is not the same as an invalid one.
volatile in C++ does not mean thread-safe.
Do not make APIs unnecessarily asynchronous.
Make C++ operator > again
Trump is an idiot.
