Hi All,

Chinese Fan. Inspired by Regan's Fan with improved sprite, added boomerang effect and freeze effect.

Im new in DC and spriting. Comment and suggestion welcome.

Hey, this is looking pretty nice! I just gave it a shot.

Here are a couple pointers to be considered next time:
- change the "Data.txt" to something like "Read Me.txt". Spreads less confusion
- the new wind-effect is not included
- I don't know, it feels like a little overkill. You know, dealing that much damage with a (potential) double-whirlwind which has a vrest and a certain zwidth that can be spawned any time. How about letting it break once you have used it? Alternatively, an edited wind which is much weaker could fit as well (ie. no damage at all. Additional weapons and attacks could do that while the fan just lifts people and things up).

Well, that's way better than expected! But one thing that bugs me is that when it is in the ground it looks like it is stuck on the ground (standing maybe )

Thanks for the pointers and cool animated gif.

I have changed the data.txt to read me.txt, and included new wind effect (which sprite is actually by History Maniac). The damage has been reduced to the minimum. The fan now breaks after thrown out, or falls off and breaks after being attacked.

The double-whirlwind wasn't intended, still trying to figure out how to change to single whirlwind. I actually prefer blade slash effect rather than freeze but can't find the way to change it. I need to go through the tutorials he he.

Note not all characters can wield the Chinese Fan. Evil souls like Julian and Frizen can't handle such delicate weapon!
