Beam doesn't always hit target

I have been working on a move, but I can't seem to get it right. The beam doesn't always hit target, even though I think the coördinates should be correct... I am clueless about the problem. Already tried changing the coördinates and the vrest.


The attack consists of 2 punches, second punch hits the opponent into the air. Press a and do a kamehameha that is going diagonally upward.

your beam is visible? if it is so does it touch the opponent? if not change the coordinates.

It just seems a little weird to me that you use y: 0 in the itrs of the kamehameha - that would mean the itr starts at the top of the image (the height enlarges the itr downwards). For more accurate coordinate setup use any kind of visual frame maker (like Azriel's, or LFStudio by wirwl).

Other than that there doesn't seem to be anything wrong in your code (and since you also say it sometimes does hit, your coordinates probably just need finetuning).

(Basically what I'm saying is I believe you're interpreting the y: and h: exactly the wrong way. x:0 and y:0 means top left point of the image, with w: enlarging to the right and h: enlarging downwards.)

OMG, really? It starts at the TOP? I wonder how I've always been able to set my ITRs untill now. I always thought it started at the BOTTOM left. Might explain a thing or two.. Will set the ITRs again tomorrow. Thanks!
