Signature Enter Format not Saved on refresh

When I press preview or finish the edit and proceed to open editor again, it shows up like this:

I suspect certain [] tags, namely size and align, may be causing this issue.

You suspect correctly. Or actually, partially. The main issue is the editor which adds and removes various things without any further ado. And, quite honestly, this editor is still the best that is around for mybb 1.8; there are others which behave much more malevolent.

The only real option would be to disable the editor altogether, leaving nothing but an empty textfield. Problem is that this can be only be done centrally, i.e. disabling/enabling it for all users. Programming the extra-option for users would take a while...
