I'm just gonna say this, he can very well be a Double of a Mentalist who is on the mafia side.

Please elaborate where exactly was I naive. I was pretty sure to leave no doubts in my identity. Mafia can't get me, so I might as well use this chance to guide everyone clearly. Playing it safe is boring. You guys realize that it'd be very easy to spot the mafia members if you all cooperated, right?

If you've accused Apocalipsis for simply bringing the possibility of a trapper into existence, which in my opinion was completely fine, and even encouragingly cautious, then I expect the above 2 posts to be more convicting for you.
