It has been done! Most work on the mainsite has been finished and I'm proud to announce that LFE v10 now goes live!

This update was mainly for security-reasons but while being at it, I added a whole new design (porting the old one just wasn't feasible anyways). A forum-update will follow as well; however, no precise date has been scheduled yet.

Either way, we're now entering the stage of tracking and fixing bugs. When you see one, you'll shit bricks please report it here so it can be squished. Ruthlessly. Mercilessly. Apocalyptically.

Write a background story for an LF2-character

Requirements:

• 200 words or more.
  
• One entry per member.
  
• Post your story in spoiler tags.
  
• You may choose any character in the original LF2. That includes the heroes, the bosses, all subcharacters and even template.
  
• The story has to be set in the LF2-world.
  
• Any number of characters may appear in your story, but focus on one or just a few of them.

considering the situation of not being able to write files on the server, I looked for a workaround of enabling you to change your avatar. And I found a way. However, it requires direct database-access. Therefore, I decided to be kind and open up a little service. From the time of this post's date, 24h onwards, I'll change your avatar!

However, despite all doubts, I am still a human (albeit quite awesome), so I'll have a few limitations to mention first:

• One avatar change per person (so think twice if you want to live with your new avatar)
  
• The avatar's size must be 120x120 or smaller
  
• Upload your new avatar to an image-host that allows hotlinking^*) (ie. imgur.com).
  
• Send me a PM with the direct image-link (and praises and glorifications)
  
• This offer will only last 24h after this post's date
  

... was caused by another stupid bot who crawled to much on LFE. Those stupid bots really get on nerves, so I blocked all of them except Google, problem might be some ignore all the blocking-stuff. We will see...
