I think he wears an armor becuz of his armor-effect.
In my opinion those lines are to deep for muscles!

I think, Julian has muscles. Some reasons for that:

• armor is kinda shiny, but Julian isn't reflecting light like metal parts would do
  
• when you hit him, you don't hear the sound you hear when punching Knight/Louis
  
• he's a zombie, he has the power of the evil!
  
• for marti's lulz

Muscles. Some really well-built muscles.

1. Not shiny - metal is always shiny
2. When hit, Julian doesn't play an armor "ting" sound, it plays the sound of that when you block physically.

Unless you're telling me Julian is a Terminator - see he has glowing red eyes and seem really durable. Terminators have a false skin/flesh over them (unless its made of polymimetic metal which is intelligent liquid metal.)
