[solved] Just a small question

MH-Razen Wrote:the falling t0 act another t0 every TU, this new T0 has a bdy at the same height with wait 1, if not every TU is possible, then make the wait a bit longer. SO the other t0-char with the ik8 will react on the opointed t0-object as long as the char is falling...

does this help?

Can't you just say that the falling char opoints bdys that let the itr/kind: 8 react?

yes, ik8 dont react on falling chars.

For ex: Targaros has a shield move, if the char still fall the shield stops - I made it this way because of the problem you have - ik8 dont follow falling chars...

Your anwser is the anwser i was hoping to get.

No wonder people never used ik8 for teleporting in super fast combos & such. I did thought it would work. oh well.

Conclusion: You cant use Ik8 in aerial combos/attacks for teleportion if the enemy is falling !

If anyone wants to hear the reason why i/k8's don't react on falling chars:

You can't simply punch falling characters with a normal itr, BUT you can hit them if you have fall: 70 in that itr
itr/kind: 8 is an itr, too, so it would only detect falling chars IF it has a fall: 70 in it
but the bad part is, the fall of an itr/kind: 8 is ALWAYS 0 no matter what you're write there...

and that's the reason why falling chars are simply ignored... it can be fixed with hex, though^^

I saw you posting something about fall value over 70 if you wanna hit falling character. I never thought to use a fall value greater then 70 on ik8.

Hex edit is for full mods. Am too lazy to bulid a full mod.I know u didnt meant it. Btw i did made aerial combo with 5 or 6 hits each deals with fall: 70. The Sixth didnt work. There i should have used fall:70+.

fall 70 will make a t0 fall right away right? so what's the difference of fall: 70 with fall more than 70?

The difference? The value of the fall: tag.
No, seriously, they act exactly the same.
Using a value greater than 70 in a fall: tag is unneccesary.
