Easy way? No.
Difficult one? maybe.
You could give yourself a seperat move where you transform to your enemy and after that you bring him to a frame with next: 1000 or something like that.
Then to the main move.
Grab him and spawn an invisible clone of yourself who starts at the transform move. the clone transforms to him and erases him
you're living, the clone is living everybody is happy.
(Would be really mean in 1 vs 1 fights ;) )

We need to get rid of all those ninjas here on lfe.

But still you can't "abort and hand the damage to the enemy" whenever you will etc. I'm sure that kind of move would be nearly impossible even with Hex...

I know a pretty awkward solution, tho. I'm not trying to get much into detail, I'm just gonna say what I made up in theory.
Every char that has an itr/k:0 must have an additional one with the same damage on a different y-level. The caught char has the corresponding bdy. All attacks of your opponents are running with state: 18 in order to hurt the caught char.
Cons: burning_smoke, can hit caught char without hitting you, you also lose hp when being hit.

Or, in other words, the deal to create something like that with pure DCing is:
