well, if this is your only critics I set the rules as fixed now!

And talking about the restricted typo: actually large parts of these rules are copied. And I just didnt see it while reading through the rules since "ck" is usual in german language and it looked familiar...

a question that may be a bit off topic considering the tournament - rather regarding those rules:
did anyone ever think of creating data/hex solutions for them (the limitations)
- louisEX for example could be disabled for everyone easily (no idea why you ppl want that ...)
- limiting moves could be realised by setting start mp up to 500 and disabling regen (+altering needed mp for moves) (once again i have no idea why you want to take out these strategic elements ...)
- fully disabling function keys and cheat, permanently
- etc / whatever you need

except for basic sportsmanship (no dance of pain locks) i think those limitation rules could be made unbreakable and hence no one has to worry about them

Definitely something consider, having a simply-edited exe for people who play online sounds like an excellent idea. Also, they'd just leave the original exe intact and paste it into their LF2 folder, having two, one for normal play and one for tournament-rule play, in case anybody is paranoid of having to reinstall their LF2 due to whatever reasons people come up with these days.

well, sounds like a great idea - a Tournament EXE.

To be serious in case we do this I would be happy if we can also use it to make publicity for tournaments on LFE to get more fighters here...

I started the sign in for the first tournament now so we can start.

If we make this I'll change rules and so...
