A new mod... and taking it to the next level to boot? Is that even possible? BX LF2 is so insanely fun already... Give me tomorrow, I will give you an accurate review of what you have so far by then Buxie.

Its pretty hard to comment on a character that only has a face pic, and a sort of background.

Perhaps some more info?

EDIT: Oops, sorry, didnt see that, how embarrassing :P

Beautiful sprites as always, and I don't know how long you take to finish your sheets but I can tell you're well motivated in being able to create so many full characters of such consistency and quality.

Anyway, I have some general comments that might help you improve your sprite quality beyond what you're already achieving.

1) Stiff Poses:
Mainly, I noticed in BX-lf2, all your characters tend to have very stiff poses, the elbows and knees are always straight or bent to the extreme.
Try to take notice of these points on the body and relax them abit, I sketched an example on the right of the trace I made of yours.

Also, even if Huang Shin is a high school student who maybe cannot fight very well, maybe you can give him a bit of a special pose, a simple one maybe like a boxer, like the 3rd sketch I drew. Or it can be any other kind of pose, at least try to give each character a unique and different pose, instead of everyone standing straight and stiff.

2) Colours:
Your sprites tend to have alot of bright colours, which is fine, but you should try to de-saturate it abit, so the contrast between the characters and the background isn't so jarring.

3) Stiff Attack Animations:
I wanted to sketch some examples as well, but my tablet drivers crashed on me again when I was just about to. But mainly, try to add more frames of animation in attacks, and also try to make sure each frame has a subtle change on posture, gradually building up to the final attack pose or end pose, to help make the attack animations smoother.
If I have time I might try to sketch some for you again another time.
"I may devour the five continents, and swallow the three seas, but a body with neither wings, nor hands, nor feet, is powerless against the sky."

My stuff:
| sprites | frozen |
