OUR WORLD AS 'THEY' KNOW IT
Davis and Woody belonged to the realm we live in.It was very different from all other realms.It was believed that thousands of years ago the humans which had become very selfish were stripped of their magical powers and were sent to a deserted realm as a punishment.
In the absence of magic they had to depend solely on their surrounding enviornment which was governed by the rules which the authorities of other realms had set.On the basis of the logic of these rules,these humans had developed an understanding which they named 'science'.
The children of these humans were denied of the knowledge about the punishment,so as generations passed, the knowledge about the other realms and the magic was lost.Now these humans would accept only those things which were in good agreement with their 'science',anything having a non-scentific base would be rejected and disbelieved.The total dependency on non-magical things made them more technologically advanced than the people of any other realm.When people of other realms were still fighting with swords and bows,people of this realm had made guns,missiles and a lot of many technologically advanced weapons.
There were a few sorcerers in this realm too,they had acquired magic with the help of people of other realms who visited this realm using magic portals.There were many such portals throughout this realm but very few knew about them.
