Stage: Teams other than 1 and 5?

Sorry, tested.

Yes, the ball can be turned to independent, and generate Rudolf stars which also hit everyone.
However, this independent star still free criminals as Team 1, as Blue Phoenix and YinYin pointed out in a similar way...

So I think, this method can't completely work.

Not completely can't work.

What if spawning opointed characters by that star...? No not star, the ball.

With Sliva's tutorial we can change their HP. This would be quite a limitation, but my story don't need very many independent stage characters, so one HP value for one ID may be enough already.
But this is a DC forum. Without HEX, 500 HP characters seems little useful in usual stages.
To work out this combined DC and HEX editing is required.

Although do test everything to confirm.

Confirmed by testing: No they're not Team 5.

I get the similar result to the above picture by putting
    DC-Code:
<stage> id: 40  #stage 5-1
        <phase> bound: 792
		id: 150  x: 250

		id: 402  x: 250  #special ball
		id: 300  hp: 999  x: 250  act: 30  reserve: 50
		id:  30  hp:  30  times: 5  ratio: 3
        <phase_end>
<stage_end>
(For testing I only put the special itr to id: 150)

then every time I get independent characters immediately.

With the id: 150 line erased, I need to wait for a random stone to activate.

As for the HP thing, there is a non-HEX solution that takes advantage of Rudolf/Julian's special coding, though its obviously not as good as proper HEX solution.

1) Ball spawns Rudolf/Julian.
2) Rudolf/Julian opoints a character - who'd always be at 10 HP.
3) Use another ball to hit the newly opointed character with an itr that has negative damage. Use effect 5 and fall: -1 to hide the sound effect, although it can't hide the shaking.

With this method you can adjust the character to have any amount of HP you like and you don't have to worry about the character healing beyond the amount of HP he is supposed to have if you had simply reduced his HP from 500, but the downside is that this doesn't grant dark red HP, so the character does not automatically heal lost HP overtime. I also have no idea if this character would drink milk and if he did, whether it would cause any side effects.

My bad if I made mistakes in my explanation. The mainsite example is better.

Also, Rudolf/Julian will appear on screen if you don't use pic 1000 so that nothing appears use pic: 1000, and remove all sounds from those frames, ;), and so that they don't seem like falling randomly, use next 1000 in the last frame.
