There isn't just one tutorial. There are many of different kinds from face to breathing frames. Take a look at Hell Fighter's " How to make Energy " for something that will give u a idea on how to make a ball or the guy shooting the ball.

Wiero's tut is excellent. He tells u how to make the whole char from hair to eyes , from shirt to pants. Take a look at that. It's really simple and easy to understand. Hope my info helped.
