oh just shut the f*** up already, its just a one click download stop being so darn lazy and uptight about this.. he is still a kid and he is still new to online communities don't expect him to learn all of this in a day or two give him some time. okay he did not provide a description or screenshots but still he 1-posted in the right section.  2-didn't post some off topic nonsense. and i see this as an improvement even if its a slight one compared to his posts before he got banned a couple of times.

tbh this is the kind of sh*t that makes me not want to post anymore, everybody is acting like a smartass.. and the funny thing is that those who give him sh*t about not writing a description or not providing screenshots downloaded the rar file and viewed the files anyway, you could have wrote some feedback anyway and then properly tell him what to do next time he posts another project.


@LABEEB: nice background, not bad for a 1st try the idea is very nice
next time when you post a new project try doing these steps:

1- description: write something about your project.
2- screenshots: to take a screenshot pause lf2 then on your keyboard press "prtsc" open pain and click "paste" and save the screenshot.

edit: with an attitude such as yours he is not going to learn like that.. you said you downloaded the rar file would it have killed you if you wrote couple of lines giving your thoughts about it and then making your self useful for once and telling him what to do and what not to do next time? i know hes 15 but not everyone has a pc and surfs the internet from a young age.

Totally agreed with Pf here. Labeeb's new to the forums and still doesn't quite have the hang of how everything is supposed to be here. We're not supposed to bash him when he makes mistakes but encourage him to learn from them and do it better next time. Some people learn faster, others not so - but at some point, each of us started using forums and wasn't quite sure how to handle it at first.

So - give him a break, if you're unsatisfied with how his project was presented then it's your own time you're wasting when you post an unhelpful reaction. It's cool if you want to help him do it better next time but then please in a respectful way.

Screenshot caught my eye, so I gave it a look and tried it ingame.

First impression:
* Looks great, but the grass texture appears a bit repetitive, and is a bit too bright.
* There should also be a transition between the trees and the grass - go from dark to bright.
* Scrolling is good. So overall the only main issue is brightness.

Did a quick search on LFE background database,
The sprites are mostly taken from VGKittenAeris's "ForestOfDeath" without credits given. I even checked the date of modification for the files to confirm this is so.

That said, to LABEEB's credit,
the main path between the grass and the bg data itself appears to be original work. Not a bad attempt for a first-timer.

LABEEB, in future if you take someone else's work for your own project, even if its just a bit of it, you should at least mention who made the original. Something like:
"Credits to VGKittenAeris for sprites taken from ForestOFDeath at Little Fighter Empire"
