Not bad for a first sprite which involves cut and paste techniques. The first one makes the character look slouched, so it's not good. The second one could do with a cape, and after it's added, it looks way better.
Scorpion's is better.
But for all of the sprites, there's a noticeable area which could be improved on. The red hood's colour was obviously done with paint work, but without good shading. It's just two red colours with different lighting that's all, which some areas which aren't correctly coloured. I suggest that you could use more colours to improve on that (shading), or use photofiltre or any painting software to convert the original sorcerer's green hood to a red hood in a better way.
One more thing: there's a visible red spot on the face, is that meant to be an eye or is that a mistake?
Overall, I'd say this is a very good first attempt.
