So I am using state 3005, only have itr, no bdy. But if another state 3005 ball hits the itr, it breaks.
How can I make it so it can hurt others but can't be destroyed? Is it possible?

Have you tried changing the hit/hitting/rebound to go back to the flying frame?
Did you consider making the ball spawn a 3005 itr constantly (or make the ball hold a hidden weapon that spawns the 3005 itr)?

if its an explosion, have you tried out state 18, state 3 or even state 3005? i know theres other ways to achieve what you described, but i forgot how.

if it's an explosion I don't see a problem with taking the same state as firen's explosion because thatone can clearly not be destroyed but still hits everything

You can also use state 15 for the explosion itself like Julian's D^J column if you don't want it to hurt yourself.
As for destroying 3005/3006 attacks, you can do as mentioned earlier - spawning a weapon being held by the explosion (see Freeze's DvJ) and in a certain frame, and this frame summons state 3005 itrs with effect 4. I think it would work perfectly as long as you don't mind using a couple frames and extra IDs to set this up.
