But hey, nice picture. The motive is... well not looking that exciting, but there's definitely some nice shading going on.
If you're still working on that picture, you could try and give the hood a texture. But be sure not to overdo it, otherwise it will look overtexturized (WHAT?).

Head needs work as you said,make the neck a bit thin,Nice work though.
Next time,remove those lines,draw on a blank paper.

You should try drawing a pose... not just a standing pose. helps you with details and all that (and makes the picture not boring)
the feet and hands need work, the rest seems fine to me though.

when you are holding two knives, you probably don't need another blade at the back

drawing:
the head positioning is an ongoing problem with your sprites, and it seems like it shows in hand drawn pics as well. At the moment the neck definitely seems strained to me

Since i saw something like the image below at Kay's PC, i decided to search it in google. And whats more? i found it! Google is awesome. It might be helpful for u guys and, i dunno whether someone has poster it already.

Yes, let me reiterate-
The head's position is off to the right.
The neck looks too thick.
The feet are a bit on the weird side, especially the one on the left. Looks more like bread than feet to me. (or woodlice)
Although that's pretty good shading, and nice proportion other than the neck and head.
