K i'll go with Henry to the main quest seeing as no one else will go that can read (srry for taking so long)

The rest, your mission is to only protect the finger. So you go to him and the men is physically build and reading some papers. "Who are you?" The duke asks you.
The rest, your mission is to protect the duke no real threat to the capital as of yet.
You go to duke Larezo DeFusco.

(don't really get what you're saying there, just gonna assume we found him)
Henry, Amadis and Fiz departed from the inn and searched for the duke. After a while, they found him reading some papers. The duke Larezo DeFusco, a physically well-built man, notices the party and asks "Who are you?"

"We are the Heldanians sent by Phil to ensure your safety, Your Grace," Henry replied.

[Nathan]

Fiz says "What are those documents that your royal Duke is reading? Also stay close to us as we shall protect through your walk for evil may await us."

[Elias]

He stands up now and takes a closer look at you three.
"Ah my wife hired you. Listen I do not need any guarding especially by some sellswords. What I'm reading is no concern to you. I suggest you take what you cam with and head back from where you came from."
He now sits back and continues reading.

Replies to the Duke "Sir, we have come to protect you, let us"

@Amadis as of now there is no threat or anything like that. You were just sent to protect him.

Fiz says,"I'm not leaving till this job is done we are hired now here we are to protect your highness now we shall stay till we are done with our quest"

[Elias]

"If you do not leave now I will make sure you do, and it will not be pleasant."
The guards slowly pull their swords, not out but in a ready position and slowly come towards you. The guards also look very dangerous and wearing heavy armor.

EDIT @STM: Well there two guards inside and two outside so total of 4. In short terms you guys are outnumbered.

How many guards do we see and how many did we notice along the way to the duke?

"Your grace, we have already been hired, we are obliged to help," Henry negotiates one last time. "If you don't need us as guards, then perhaps you could use us for other errands?"

[Elias]

"Out now." The guards step up their pace.
