I think it's a personal preference. I don't really see a ponytail fit either Dennis OR Louis lol.

Anyway, just change what you want on the concept. I will start when we got a clear concept sprite..

But indeed, like you said.. It becomes pretty hard to recognise him as Dennis with this hair change.

I will start a new topic on Dennis and start spriting the clothes. If someone comes up with a new plan for his hair, I'll edit it later

I want to talk about other character designs while we are working on other characters.

So far we have:

Dennis (correct me if I am wrong)

General (correct me if I am wrong)

DESIGNS WE NEED:
Main villain, something like a dark elf.
New minions.

You are correct about everything. There is also something that I'd like to discuss..

I have started working on Dennis him and his design was meant to be final, but I noticed it takes me quite some time to finish his sprites (+- 45-60 minutes per sprite, maybe more.. I'm hella slow xD), and I must admit I don't feel the effort I'm making on this sprite concept is worth the outcome. In the end, it is 'just' a simple sprite edit.

I think that maybe it is better if we'd just keep the designs for the original characters even more basic, or we might not finish the mod simply because the original characters demand too much work.

Of course, having some changes such as I did with Dennis definately adds something to the quality of
the mod, that is undeniable. If you guys think we can manage a good mod with fairly big changes to the
original characters, I will lay faith in it too. But if that is the case, I might let the spriting to you,
Mono and Arcane, as I got the best intentions for this mod but I'm not much of a spriter (sorry).

Please share your opinion, as it regards not only the design for Dennis, but also for future concepts that we will make for the original characters.

Well, we can leave it how it is Original characters with same design I know, respriting takes a lot of time
