You guys are all talking about their physical equipment. Time for some ambiguity.
They may not all wear the same type of outfit or carry around the same type of weapon but their role is usually the same

• Assassination - they are usually hired to kill someone
  
• Espionage - infiltrating, spying and obtaining information for their client(s)
  
• Tactical Training - whether it be their cheap acrobatic karate gimmicks or trained to solely disguise themselves as a wooden floor board, they are always quick to deceive and ready for action.
