Cool If you can make something that fits with the on-ice frames, it is definately do-able and not even too hard I think! So if you make a concept sprite (or Mono, but I think you're probably best at this kind of spriting. Perhaps you should ask Mono who's going to make it), I can make concept data.

This character's sprites are awesome and consistent, I really like them. So there's not much for me to say regarding sprite quality, more than "keep them coming".

About the 'ice explosion' attack, what about something like this:
* He crouches and puts one hand in the ground, and he remains like that for the rest of the attack. There has to be a lighting effect over his body, like in Julian's Explosion charging... and the cape/suit has to float a little.
* Some ice particles start appearing in the nearby area, floating around. The ground around him gets iced, too. The time for this part should be equivalent to Firzen's Volcano, or Julian's Explosion, and depends on the AOE that you decide to use.
* A subtle but flashy effect acts as the trigger of the freezing of everyone in the AOE. The icy ground where the Wizard was standing remains like that for a couple of seconds.

The only thing bugging me a little about this char is the name... Wizard sounds a little bland for a boss. Then again, I'm not sure if this name is temporary or something.

It's not like his name is realy that important since he is guardian of bla bla...
Knight, sorcerer, bandit, hunter, wizard, monk. Characters that realy do not need to have a specific name since no detailed backstory or main character role in his story.
