Can't make Firen's punches hit

Hey!

Me and my friends have always enjoyed the Reinforced Little Fighter 2 mod, but with 2.0a there are some problems.
I'm trying to fix some of them, including making mirrored sprites and such, but this one beats me!

Most of the characters can land punches, jump and running attacks, but not Firen, Woody and a couple more.
I tried to mod his data, with copy - paste from the original data file, but no luck.

I've tried copy - paste the entire data from LF2, just to see if that would make the attacks hit, but it wouldn't. He will, strangely enough, not even pick up weapons either.

I think it must have something to do with the new version of LF2, but would like to know if anyone has any idea as to what might be the problem.

That's strange, I've been running R-LF2 on v2.0a without mods except for fixing Louis's D>A DJA move (which has too many itrs), making my own _mirror sprites and removing the funny characters at the beginning of the name without any issues.

The punch frames for R-LF2 Firen should look like this:

I'm assuming you are viewing the data with Rammichael's DCer which allows you to view R-LF2's encrypted data, then copied-pasted the data over to the standard LF2 DCer for the coloured tags and save to make it work more easily. In that case, check if any of the tags for some reason aren't coloured properly. That's the only thing I can think of.

Did you install it in a particular way?

The way I did was:

Install LF2
Install R-LF2 somewhere else
Then drag all, except R-lf2.exe, over in LF2

Not sure if this is the right way though :P

1. Install LF v2.0a somewhere.
2. In the installation setup of R-LF2 when it asks for the folder, browse the folder of the installed v2.0a.
3. Done.

Check if it works..

Are you sure that it's not the problem with data files.
You may try with the v1.9c too..

I can get it to run and all, but some characters can't attack.

So, If I run it with the 1.9c version I can't mirror, but Firen can attack. If I run it with the 2.0a, I can mirror but not attack.

Use sprite mirrorer to mirror, mate!

Sorry, I explained that a bit wrong. When I use 1.9c "it" won't mirror. I have mirrored all the bmp's but LF2 won't use them.
