"R"? All the rest are symmetrical, either by having a line of symmetry or an order of rotational symmetry that is less than 1.
"K" because it's the 11th alphabet, and 11 is an odd number. The rest do not follow that. A-Engine: A new beat em up game engine inspired by LF2. Coming soon A-Engine Dev Blog - Update #8: Timeout
There is no limit to different guesses, except for only one guess until it is confirmed correct or incorrect!
PS: If I posted after your guess and there is no new game update, it can be seen as confirmed incorrect. The above post is correct. Since there were some ninja editing shenanigans going on, what I just said doesn't hold for A-Man's post. I will update soon. Quote of the Day f***ing Year (Click to View)

Scoreboard (Click to View) Point Stealer: Use it to steal one point from anybody else on the scoreboard. Point Booster: Use it to make a normal question (not bonus!) worth 1.5x its original points. (You have to use this together with your answer to the same question; in case the answer is wrong the extra points stay up for grabs for other people!) Item Stealer: Use it to steal one item from a person on the scoreboard who has more points than you. Question 168 (1 point): What is the square root of √(-1) ? Quote of the Day f***ing Year (Click to View)
Tricky question, I see.
Since √(-1) is i by definition. Polar form of that is [1, pi/2]. Taking the root using De Moivre's makes it either [1, pi/4] or [1, 5pi/4]. Changing to algebraic, either: cos(pi/4) + sin(pi/4)i = 0.707 + 0.707i or: cos(5pi/4) + sin(5pi/4)i = -0.707 - 0.707i Sounds more like a Maths question, but I suppose saying its √(i) would've been enough? EDIT: IT CAN ALSO BE WRITTEN AS e^(πi/4) @v: You forgot the i :P A-Engine: A new beat em up game engine inspired by LF2. Coming soon A-Engine Dev Blog - Update #8: Timeout
damn, why didn't I see this earlier D:
Also it can be written as e^i(π/4) please give me some points :P @A-Man: Ty man! i knew I missed something :P
BUT MY CALCULATOR SAYS (-1)^(1/2)^(1/2) IS MATH ERROR

@STM : Goto complex mode and try.
screw the calc. Working from reverse, I multiplied (0.707+i707)x(0.707+i0.707) I got 0.999698i ≈ i . voila

Yes, I was looking for ±1/sqrt(2)(1±i), which correspond to the values that A-Man posted. His explanation is kind of circuitous though, since you would only need to solve the equation system a²-b² = 0 and 2ab=1. (This results from (a+bi)² = a²-b²+2abi and a simple coefficient comparison with i.)

Question 169 (1 point): What's an Abelian group under addition, is closed, associative, distributive, and bears a curse? Quote of the Day f***ing Year (Click to View)
Edit:
A={0} Under addition: Commutative: 0+0 = 0 = 0+0 Associative: 0 + (0+0) = 0 = (0+0) + 0 Distributive: 0*(0 + 0) = 0*0 + 0*0 Closed: For all a,b such that a,b are elements of A, a + b is an element of A. The curse.. is that it contains only 1 element? A-Engine: A new beat em up game engine inspired by LF2. Coming soon A-Engine Dev Blog - Update #8: Timeout |
