Opinions on Little Fighter Online? [Poll]

Well, I played and liked the game a lot, but after some time I couldn't play anymore because they enclosed the game to Hong Kong even more (asks serial to register - my account created before that only could go in town mode, no play)

Same here, I used to play it, but i didnt like the fact you had to buy new moves....it's the only mmorpg where you have to buy skills, which is soo....ugh. weird! no game does that.

Gameplay was completely altered. grabs are out, now it's all about Stop, Drop, and Roll. watching fights got dull, you roll like crazy all around the stage, shooting like crazy, and using minimal melee attacks...LF2's fighting had tremendous depth into close combat, that LFO has just taken all out of the game.

Graphics are a bit bad. i mean they die with a smile on their face! the models are horrible looking 3D Chibis, their hair is weird and the animation seemed too awkward, especially the hurting frames...looks like a seizure. *Shaking from disppointment*
LF2 was in 2d, and showing Emotion as they fight. LFO lacks that.

sound effects were a rip-off of LF2, but the voices...worst than the English King of Fighter Maximum Impact series...very very bad voice acting. Julian sounded like he has food in his mouth while yelling.

special effects looked okay, but could of did better. the columns doesnt look strong with an clear inner beam. (julians used to be white and purple, in lfo it's just purple and clear.

btw they made lfo in 2005....shouldnt there be an English version? it's been 3 years and they havent even made one version in english while the chinese are at version 5,(which i believe is 6 now). didnt they plan to make a english version before?!
LF2 was for chinese and USA....LFO should be the same you know.i think it's just a bit selfish, but i dont really care much about it.
if i actually had moves and missions on the game i might change my mind. they ruined an good sequal by altering it with such simple settings.

but one think i like about LFO...their designs are awesome at least, by that i mean the artwork, not the 3D models.

Well, actuallly there's games that do it. Because, it's a commercial game, it's free but you can expand it.

I think they chosen to distribute for Hong Kong only, all we have to do is wait that some company gets interested on bringing the game to America.

XD some companies steal, but i dont think they did.
i had that idea for about a year, and if i add devil bat into my manga, they will think i copied from them, who i really copied from is Devil Jin, who has the same eye laser as bat, but does it in a cooler way.

nirvana is right about the designs are great but they have really wierd taste in names when i first played lf2 i thought woody and rudolf were weird but stinky and cutie are just even wierder

here's a example if LFO's gameplay, Freeze doesnt sound right using an attack that big with hardly no strong tone of voice. what i mean is he should sound more seriously.

but so far, alot of people have been telling me its a really good game, so im not totally against it, but the demo is what makes everyone hate it, and the fact we can get no skills.
so far, more people have been putting videos of gameplay, mostly with no sound, but there are battles with other players and it makes the game seem like Brawl, except your not trying to knock them off the stage.
But man....the most of the enemies are simple animals!! crabs...bees..but the other levels have some good looking ones.
I looking for more videos to see if i will change my mind about it.We will have to accept the fact the LFO is just another game useing lf2's characters i guess.
the all that rolling and special skill using, it seems just like Brawl.

dont know what she sayin, but i just felt like posting it.
im going to be watching some tournament, i kinda like them alittle.
one thing i dont like is the game seems more of like roll and shoot, seriously. combos seem very mediocre on LFO unless your in the corner, but since they roll so dam much, it's almost impossible to do anything, and the spaming attacks all day, in LF2 you cant do that.

I've already got a bad impression when I first saw LFO without even playing it.

1. The characters were pretty weird to me, both new and old ones (some exceptions though)
2. When I saw screenshots of the gameplay graphics... I disliked it quickly.
3. Chinese language. Though I know some chinese, my chinese is too poor.
4. A MMORPG? I dislike MMOs...
5. What? I have to PAY to actually play it normally or play free and be overly limited? I'm never paying just to play unless its a CD game that I can buy.
6. I dislike the controls and most of the moves. Really. And it looks way unbalanced.

LF2 was for chinese and USA....

lf2 is freeware - anyone with internet connection can get it (so yeah only mentioning china and usa sounds a bit weird there when lf2.net actually comes in 8 different languages ... and that sure doesn cover every country 'online')
lfo on the other hand (if im not mistaken) was only intended for the Hong Kong market - not even whole china

yeah it would be so awesome if they made lfo in their artwork style - its badass (the 2D/drawn stuff - with normal proportions)

Actually, this could be gravedigging but let's be nice and neither delete your post nor close this thread. Instead, if you don't know if it is worth to give LFO a try, check out the other posts as well as the Poll-results. In the end, it's your decision anyways.
