4th Update:
[spoilerrologue to Stage Mode]

This land is known as The Empire.
There had been war here before, but they'd ended as as the Wong
family rose to power. Under their rule, the warring tribes were united,
and with Marti Wong appointed King, the Wong dynasty began.

The Empire became peaceful. Forrests grew lush, the oceans swelled
with life, and the crops were strong. The Wong dynasty made a treaty
with the neighbouring planet Tiren's King, and trade emerged between
them. Tiren's technology made life easier, and forrests begun to grow
on Tiren once more.
A grand Castle was built in the Wong's honour, with Starski Wong as the
current ruler, as a symbol of the unity and peace of the nation. Contact
was even established with an otherworldly realm, a place that became
known as the Angel Empire.
Life was good.

It didn't last.
Suddenly, all trade with, or even news from Tiren ceased, and contact
with the Angel Empire was lost. Bandits began roaming the forrests, the
seas became treacherous, and the crops were weak.
The Castle grew quiet, as it's gates began opening rarely, to traveler
or villager alike, and then not at all. No-one from inside the Castle
would answer cries for help or food, and as dark clouds swirled overhead,
hoplessness descended. The people felt abandoned in their time of need,
while famine and disease spread.

When the Castle's gates did finally open, dark armies flooded forth,
spearheaded by a dark figure in a large hat, and the Wongs were
declared dead. A sinister laughter could be heard from within the
stronghold, as the dark legion began their attack.
The villages offered little resistance to the assault, how could they, they
were weak from hunger and disease, and knew nothing of the art of war.
The world fell into chaos...

Drahcir was a general for the Tiren Guard, the police force of his home
planet, before the dark king, Morechgar, took over and disbanded the
Guard. Now he leads a resistance movement alongside his brother...

I didn't know there was a forum mod going on. But aye - I agree with Snorsorbet, it's now wanted

For those of you who are new/werent here when it was started,
The forum Mod was started late last year, and organized by Gad. The thread was filled with craploads of spam, and people saying "i wanna join, i cant sprite or DC, but i wanna help" and it quickly became overwhelming. Then a few more threads followed, filled with spam.
The admins decided to make a new section, which can only be seen by those in the mod team. So to join, people had to join the group, and had to send a sort of resumè through which the leaders (admins, mainly BP) would view and decide whether or not they could join.
Over time, Gad disappeared for ages, and BP decided to make some new team leaders. (i am one of them). Unfortunatley, More people disappeared or dropped out because of slowness, or because of lack of interest.
Now we have some people still interested (like me, Magnamancy, Drachir, Reaper, Solomon...)
though progress is pretty slow, but we are getting close to finishing our chars.
