I have a pretty cool idea...
these are things i found off of google :)
~The Sword Cabinet~
make an item (chain) that wraps around the enemy
And they fall into a box, then suddenly all sort of knives and swords go into the box and blood comes out. And all items dissapear into a puff of smoke, and enemy falls down again once more...
~Frozen In A Block Of Ice~
When frozen he bursts out of the ice, without breaking it and replaces it with something or somebody
if holding a item at hand he will replace it with that...

anyway, i was thinking of a new move
how about an ubercharge move?
he charges up, and he has a temporary shield around him, and all his moves get slightly faster and stronger, and he has a few new abilities chucked in too
yes or no?

Sounds good, if you can realize it, I'd love to see something like that! :)
Although, being a magician with some kind of charge-up is kinda... weird. Oh well, I've never understood those magicians anyways :P
Just having a shield around him while charging might be a little imbalanced. Depends on the amount you increase his abilities.

no not while he charges, after the charge. He charges up for about...10seconds and has a shield around him (and new powers) until he gets knocked down.
i know its weird for a magician, but i'll see how the sprites pan out, and evaluate the difficulty of the DC before i actually implement it in

It may look less wierd if, instead of looking like he's 'charging',
make him look like he's crafting a complex spell or something?


If your still after special attack ideas, then;

Marionette - He summons a Puppet, which could either be
invincible, leaving after a set time, or take some hits too break.

If invincible, to balance it, you could have him not move for the
time duration. If he gets knocked down, the puppet vanishes.

If your still looking for moves, as it's a magician:

Birdie out of the hat.
He could pull a bird out of a hat (similar to Jan's chasing birds). Which then attack the enemy :D

or he could be dodgy enough to pull a 'sword' or 'cane' from the hat, which he then uses to batter people - it breaks when he gets knocked down xD

anyway, i tried giving him a fighting animation, with punches, and a flip kick to finish, but it looks dreadful, so i think i will make him fight with a magic wand :D
unless i can get my act together...
