sorry for being rude, but you are just childish. of course there are people who insult you. there always are some. and even if someone "well-known" insults you (what wasn't even the case), you should stay calm. giving up that project will only show others that you are childish.

I don't gave up i just don't have the time to make a char for little childs who just say things like "Take my sprite! it looks so much better than yours"
"Oh yeah take his sprite! and don't do a char. Make it an object!"
"Make it an object. NOW!"

i just dont see the sense of this.
i have school i have a real life and then when i'm coming up with an idea and take some time to do ppl want me to change THAT and THIS and critism my unoriginality (@alectric: Uh yeah sorry i forget the 12 other chars that have moves like shooting soda. Completeley forgot...)
I have not the time to waste to make another char nobody will play.

oh man cmmon... ok lets say you posted a thread and showed us the vending machine you want every one to lie to you and say: wow!! it looks epic...etc you want that? and you said you waste time on making a char no one will play well have you ever tried doing you best and going all out?
one of the spriting things i learned during my stay at the forums here is NEVER GIVE UP! IF THE FIRST SPRITE DOESNT SATISFY YOU KEEP TRYING ONCE AND TWICE AND SO ON UNTIL YOU GET THE LOOK YOU DESIRE.

alec didnt mean anything bad with that post he made. you first reaction just made him a bit mad thats all.
as soon as you posted that machine every one started saying one thing. improve! so even if you dont have time just say people when i have the time i will make better.
ya see i really dont like that too. someone makes a char and it wants it too be sooo cool from the begining. when you post your work you will have to learn to accept criticizm and new ideas.look at me for EX first time i posted darius i wasnt a perfect sprite it needed a hell of an improvment. so i practice and practiced and i got the result i want finnaly.

hacker please belive me if you try harder and listen to members more you works will gain even better popularity.
dont lose your temper so fast just go easy listen to ideas and things will go just fine.

I think you guys got a bit misunderstood for this to happen so suddenly.
Actually I think Hacker wanted ideas for his char to improve. Even though most of us suggested him to make an object off it, etc.. in the end, it's totally his choice to whether accept the suggestions or not. So if he don't want to make the char face more to the right or his char to be bigger, it's his problem. It's not whether he accepts criticism or not.

If you don't want to, don't listen to us. Even if the sprites don't have a power level of 9001, the vending machine will probably still be enjoyable to play with. And if you feel like it, you can still go back and remake the sprites. If you feel like it.
