HEX solution for fall: -1

I'm atm working on a modification for LF2 (> LF2 Gamma) and since it will be a stand-alone version i can finally use HEX to solve some problems... IF there is a solution for the problem i have atm:

The mod contains a couple of enemies attacking chars with fall: -1 hits. This actually causes the chars to be slowed while continouesly taking damage (no injury frames, no lying, no rescue).
But as always, fall: -1 causes problems:

Being hit by multiple fall: -1 itrs and then getting hit by a fire attack, will cause the char to keep burning (midair-hovering) forever. Also, getting hit while doing a dash-attack can cause the char to be stucked in the last frame of the dash attack on the ground.


I can't use the casual "Timestop with 2 itr's, hitting with fall: -1 and fall: 1"-method, since it is not ONE EFFECT, but a couple of different chars attacking on different frames.

Wanted to know whether there is a way to (f.e.) prevent chars fall-values from going below 0 or something.

if I remember right the itr/effect 7 which is currently implented into the dll framework makes the enemy not go into the injury frames and also doesn't add negative fall values.... I don't exactly remember if it's effect 7, but it's somewhere in there

Damn, i completely fail on understanding how to use the dll thingy...

Do i just need to download the dll and the patched exe to get it working?


edit: Gah, i should have never even tried to think about the hex-thingy... now i have serious headache because of trying to understand how this things work.

Long time no see :D

Just download the appropriate DLL from either mine or Silva's thread along with the EXE and run it.

A list of all the old "hacks" is in Silva's old DLL framework thread...

I have all the explanations for the EXE updates on mine, which also includes all of Silva's old patches.

And yeah .. I think it's Itr Kind: 0, Effect 7. :D

you all know and i know that im not a hexer and that this probably shouldnt be here
but the fire is easy to get around in dc. just add -1 in dvy in the last burning frame and probably add a time limit for the dashing frames. XD

-1 ? Then the burning guy would just fly straigth upwards, wouldn't he?

i believe not because it alternates between two frames really quickly so -1 does not have very much affect. i did this on my maplestory character (otto has this bulk up move that gives negative fall points). theres only a tiny difference in distance falling from fire.
