[sprite contest thread v.2]

Had this idea awhile back for Elemental Chaos' Granite character.
A summon-able armour weapon that helps take non-piercing attack damage.
Hadn't tested out the DC for it but had an idea of how I was gonna do it.

For the compy I decided to do a frost version for Frozen, for fun. Was also contemplating it for the actual character, but nah, it doesn't look like it'd suit Frozen. And ice is a pain in the arse to sprite. lol.

really nice idea but i dont think its more like a weapon i think its more like shield
and here is another entry which im not sure of what do you think is better the old 1 or this?

Sheilds count as weapons. Well, in this comp they do. He said it was 'Summonable' so i assume it's some special thing that expands and becomes armour.

oh sorry forgot to say its a spear that has 3 blades and when it touches you it shocks you

Small white lines with yellow glow effect or just draw a small white between a bunch of yellow and blur the hell out of it

what do you guys think the claw is better or this is better?

He's holding it wrong in any case, the hand nearest the bladed end should be BEHIND the staff/pole, whereas the bit furthest away should be infront. Otherwise he's stabbing himself in the gut with it more than anything else.

That is better than the claw hands down. Try to make a nicer design though :P

i will maybe but see his not holding it wrong its just the color on the staff at the end got shiny from the lightning and it look likes that hand maybe ill fix that.
