Most of the time i would avoid spriting anything bellow the legs, as i see it as a limit...
abs look pretty good but a lil far apart, like 3-4 pixels WIDE! get in the habit of making them around .5-2 pixel
when i mean .5, it's just silly way of slightly covering over it (with the opacity)
also refer back to google images or Julian's/Justin's toes, cuz the feet are like blocks (shoes)

the positive thing i see is that u distinctively separated the two shades of skin colors (it's important to have contrast)
sadly i don't see it in the rest of sprite, such as the cape, clothes, and cuffs...
i like the idea u were going for, similar to apoc but no ice yet... :P
