ok then here my advice: this image is waaaaaay to large - I actually had loading problems with an old version of easterisland where the background was 1200x600 or so.

I bet this image cause the trouble. Split the image into several images (10 is pic-max per dat.-file). Register the image and recode it. This should help, but I can't give you a guarantee. I simply think this weapon is to large. You should makle it half size, still large enough
