@Marshall:
Ah, tomcwy did Wraith? cool... though I think he released it under a different name?.. since I didn't come across him as "tomcwy" until robotical boards.
Anyway Yinyin's gives a vibe of being a really good all rounder rather than just purely a DCer. His clean and crisp DC skills are made even more impressive when paired with his gameplay design and aesthetic sense. There are alot of people who write alot of clean and crisp code... its really his sense of design that makes it work so "smoothly".
That's what puts him near the top in my books too, like Silva, but when the topic goes like "Who has been the best DCer in history", people tend to focus on the people who innovated rather than polished things.
Anyway Sinow's a good mention, he did refine some interesting techniques to create a Pet system and develop the "button hold charge" method of input I think?
Unfortunately I haven't actually tried anything by Nave so I can't comment much but based on the discussions around the board he strikes me as a really good technical DCer... also his NTSD videos look really impressive too. (Though I would say unlike DCers like Yinyin the implementation he used for alot of the features didn't suit my taste. Platforms, as an implementation... works really really horribly in LF2's framework.)
