Sure not,becuase characters don't have brain/mind.
But you can control their moves.The char which will be controled,should have some ik8 in all a lot his frames.One of ik8 will send him in running,the second one in walking,the third one in jumping etc (by dvx.And all of these ik8 must have different y values and large areas which would be able to interact with special bdy of character that can control others.Also char which control,must have the corresponding special bdy in each of his controling moves.(Be sure that areas are able to interact in large bgs,or if zou wish,they can interact only in short distances).
