In my opinion, i don't think they should add mirrors. That's one of the main reasons to download quick.
Example: One sprite should be 8kbs, but two sprites(including mirrors) will be more than 12kbs. Think of if it's 500 sprites sheets. If you have to download mirrors, you will have to download 1000 sprites sheets.(That's a lot)
Another reason is that it will load sloooooooooooooooower. I don't know what's with your computer but mine works fine even without mirrors.(Well, I used to have this problem once with my trashed PC).
Last but not least, it will be unnecessary for some people like me, and it will also waste some time, too.

This place motivates me to become an artist, this place motivates me to learn coding, this place made me grow up, showed me the ways to interact with people. Unlike the old childish of me myself, I've learned a lot and gotten some experiences. For me, it's not just a fan forum, it's a helpful community. From a noob to someone who would think before he speaks, looking back at my old post made me laugh hard, I'm grateful of the differences between these 2 years.
