The aftermath
“Smoke rose from the top of Forbidden Tower. During the past days, the unimaginable has happened. A group of a handful people had managed to plough their way through an army of trained fighters and ultimately faced the one that controlled them: the ruler, drawn from the underworld, empowered with the souls of the fallen. Incredibly strong, he was able to merge and subject the separate kingdoms into one empire with him pulling the strings.
And this person was now sent back to his realms, into the world where reality and imagination merge into chaos. After a long and ferocious battle, he had to surrender to the immense force he was facing. Lord Julian was defeated.
Only a couple of people know what happened afterwards. Most have fallen in the war. It is no surprise that the ones still alive do not dare to tell the story, given the circumstance that supporters of the ancient regime are to face atrocious punishments. However, I have lost everything I ever had. Wife, children, possessions, everything. I am now a beggar, living on the streets, trying to live my life as good as I can. I am one of the few that still remember the good old times, where order and righteousness ruled this empire rather than single kingdoms trying to get the full control over the remnants of the empire. In fact, I was one of the most loyal servants. My name is Justin and this is the story of the war’s aftermath.
Even though Lord Julian fought with all the power he possessed, it was not enough to beat the Little Fighters. Instead, he lost the final battle. And with him, the empire crumbled. What had been united under his strong hand has been torn apart, anarchy followed. The fighters demonstrated their superiority against Lord Julian but did not care about the consequences. These usurpers destroyed the empire and let it deteriorate.
Technically, they are still the leaders of the empire but except for receiving glory and praise, they do nothing to help us come to peace. This is where my master’s ultimate deed comes in. Right before he was taken out of this world, he laid a curse on his opponents. Long time, it was a mystery as to what this curse did to them. Shortly before Forbidden Tower finally collapsed, a few brave sorcerers dared to enter the library to find the banned book. A book that contained spells immensely powerful. So powerful that the world could have been destroyed in a single blow. These sorcerers knew that, in case they get ahold of the book, they would become the most powerful wizards alive. What they did not know was that the book itself was cursed as well. Soon after they discovered the magic spell Julian spoke upon the Fighters, they mysteriously disappeared and were never seen again.
Now, the book is gone. Forbidden Tower is a place of ruins and the books got, as a measurement to remain in power, burnt by a man called Firen. I never forget his face, this devilish antic, seeming to enjoy his deeds. Nobody will ever be able to cease control again and restore order.
Shortly before the disappearance of the sorcerers, they talked to me about what they have done. The last thing they said to me before they went was to keep the knowledge alive. The knowledge about what has really happened that day. Not the story told by the Little Fighters, which is about a few good men destroying all evil and giving the empire back its freedom. In reality, right before Julian’s demise, he laid the Spell of Remembrance upon them. Every night, they have to fight against the ones they killed. However, in a way that they cannot win. Eventually, the Little Fighters get taken out by the images of our fallen brothers.
Julian’s hope was that the lunacy would then stop somewhen. That these people would eventually get to their senses and establish a solid empire. That we can find to peace. If not today, then maybe tomorrow. So far, no success. Will this madness ever stop? I don’t know.
I am sorry, I have to leave now. I feel the menacing presence of somebody…”
Later that day, a corpse was found, laying in a dark corner of a street canyon in Tai Hom Village. The chest area was exposed and heavily mutilated. Somebody had written into its flesh with a sharp knife:

“Keep it cool, Mark. You're not in control of yourself right now.” The bandit was looking rather concerned. “You'll squander all of our money. Garnering it took us months!”
“Shut up! You may have forgotten it, but I'm still the boss. You obey my orders or I'll find a place for your head better suited than your neck. Understood?” The bandit audibly gulped.
“Good. Either way, I'll get my money right back and then you can thank me for making us rich.” Mark adjusted his sunglasses, attempting to come across relaxed, but the droplets of sweat on his forehead gave the lie to his behaviour.
He wiped off the beads with his left hand, his right one still holding the cards. If the air just wasn't as stifling... But they were in the very middle of the messy anthill that was Tai Hom Village. A modern anthill, admittedly - a clear advantage compared to the forbidden castle where they didn't even have constant hot water - but an anthill nonetheless.
Mark was sitting in a corner of an old casino that had somehow managed to survive amongst the skyrocketing buildings Tai Hom nowadays consisted of. Someone was playing the piano, but his strumming stood no chance against all the laughing and shouting of the half-drunk people in there.
The casino itself was mostly comprised of heavy, dark furniture which, legend has it, was older than the village. The table he was sitting at right then was one of those very pieces. Scattered across the room, these tables built the isles shattering the flood of people into little groups of stranded survivors.
Which was exactly what they were – stranded. After the Little Fighters had defeated Julian, all his minions and accessaries were suddenly out of work. Some had managed to get a regular job and live a mostly normal life, safe for the alcohol they used to wash away the memories of their life as a servant of evil. But most of them ended up the way Mark and his followers did – as scoundrels, rogues, crooks, sub-prime criminals altogether.
“Worried?” the figure on the other side of the table asked in a condescending tone. “You'd better be.”
Mark fixated his eyes on it, showing a glance even a basilisk might be envious of. However, the impressiveness of his stare was severely limited by the fact that he was still wearing his sunglasses. As much as they were helpful for maintaining his poker face – in this situation he would have been better of without them.
“Oh shut up, you freak. You take a pride in your flawless poker face? Well, guess what? You don't even have a face.”
Even though his antagonist was lacking any kind of facial features, Mark could have sworn that he was smirking at that moment. It was a weird feeling. He could sense the smirk was there, but he couldn't see it.
“Ow, that really hurt. Perhaps I could get yours, seeing how you're already risking your skin in this game.” Now Template's invisible smirk had turned into an outright grin.
“Alright, that's enough. Just continue the game, we'll see who laughs last.”
“That's right. We will see indeed.”
Template took another look at the table. The Flop had been a jack, one ace and a king, the Turn Card a mere five. Mark glanced at the two aces he already had in his hand. He was in a good position, but he had to be careful. A handful more loses and he would be broke.
“How much money do you still have?”
Puzzled by the question, Mark remained quiet for a few seconds.
“Well, whatever. I'm pretty sure it's far less than a thousand.” With these words, he took a large chunk of his chips and pushed them towards the middle of the table. Still Mark didn't move.
“What's up? That's your chance to get back all the money you lost during the last couple hours, your ticket for the return journey, your little time machine if you want so. Don't tell me you chicken out now.”
One of his gang members put a hand on his shoulder, but Mark shook it off. A dead grin seized his facial features.
“Alright, all-in.”
He turned towards the dealer who burned the uppermost card, then took the next one from the stack and placed it face-up on the table. It was another king.
“I guess it's time to say bye-bye to your money. Full house.”
“Time to say goodbye indeed. But worry not, I will grant you a minute or two before the departure.”
With these words, Template threw his cards on the table. The other two kings. For a second, Mark was paralysed.
“You're not getting my money, you freak.”
“I've just won it. You've got to kill me if you want to get it back.”
Mark bared his teeth. “Well, maybe I will.”
In a blink of an eye he pushed over the table, making Template fall over. With a sudden fierceness Mark leaped at him, determined to make him pay for all this. His arms found Template's neck when he suddenly felt a searing pain in his left arm. Shockingly, it was bleeding out of a deep cut just above the elbow.
“What the f***?”, he muttered, turning back towards Template, only to find that Template wasn't there anymore. In his place, Rudolf stood, one of his swords speckled with blood.
“No! You are... That cannot be. I -”
“Oh, for f***'s sake, spare me your stuttering. You can account yourself lucky as I'm not in the mood for fighting right now. I'll just take my money and then I'm outta here.” With these words he took the notes the dealer gave him in exchange for his chips and slashed himself a way towards the exit.
“What the hell? That was all of our money. We can't let him take it.”
“Shut up. I'm not going to mess with Rudolf again. Remember the last time? Half of our gang had been cut into package-sized pieces. I'll find us another source of income.”
“You better do. Because if you don't, we will just take whatever we can get from you.”
Outside of the casino, it was already pitch-black. The dim light of the neon signs was the only thing that illuminated the streets. Template turned right into a back alley, walking on for a few hundred meters until he was out of earshot.
Then he started to laugh maniacally. It had all worked out. Nobody could tell the difference between him and Rudolf. It had taken him more than a year to perfect his shape-shifting, but it was well worth it.
Now he would have his revenge on the Little Fighters who didn't let him join the fight against Julian, telling him he wasn't even meant to exist. Template, the creators prototype stopped halfway in it's track. They did not understand he wasn't a mere scheme, but the base of all other persons. And thus, with a bit of training, he could become anyone. They did not understand, but they would soon see.
This time he really was smirking. The Little Fighters had no idea what they were getting into.

An unusual fighter's romance
Lonely. One might feel like that along the journey to their dreams. I was no different, especially when one considers the 'special' circumstances my 'birth' has brought up. However there is something i found back then. Love. I never would have considered it, even if i knew how to deal with my problems. This is actually weird to talk about, but I might as well tell you the whole story. This is the story of an unusual fighter's romance.
In a dark, cold forest something very bizarre was about to happen. Following the path starting from the forest entrance one could see three shadows emerge. One bigger than the other two who stood pretty close together. The big shadow manifests itself into a big muscular guy, who pretty much looks like a demon of hell itself. The other two, a boy with spiky hair and a girl with tied-back hair, were closely watching every move of the demon. "Hand over the female and I may let you live!" the demon demanded. "I'll never let you lay a single finger on her... BECAUSE I LOVE HER" the boy replies. The girl behind the boy shrugs. "Oh... uhm, this is kind of akward... I see you more as a friend" the girl says.
"Oh screw this!" the boy screamed, taking two steps forward, and kicked the seemling hidden camera man off his seat. The camera man quickly leaped back while in mid-air, pulling out two katana. "Wanna fight, pretty boy?" the camera man whispered quietly. "Any time, Rudolf!" the boy with the spiky hair shouted. "Davis-honey, calm down, it's just a movie script" the girl said to the boy with spiky hair. "It's no use, Jane, he is out of control once again" the demon said, while he took off his head, revealing a blonde pack of hair ontop of a blue-eyed face. "Oi Louis, are you hitting on my girl again?" Davis raged. Louis, the blonde and charming one, just sighed at this rage outburst and took his leave.
"My, my, aren't we full of hot air again Mr. hot-head" a voice behind the group said. A femine character appeared right where Louis disappeared. "John.. you!" red-faced Davis mumbled. "Yes, yes I think we will call it quits for today and hit the next bar, that sound like a deal?" John asked Davis. "uhm.. I guess so." a surprised Davis answered. Everyone else agreed too. So the group of four continues quietly to the next bar.
"Oh haven't seen'n yer faces in damn long time,haven't I" Mark the bar tender greeted the group."Yo Mark ya old dog, still trainin' ya muscles?" Davis said to the big hill of muscles. "Ya know, even if I stopped fightin' a long time ago, mah muscles still have the big use for it!!" Mark said while handing over the drinks to Davis & the others. "I feel ya, I'm totally heated up for weeks now, no action whatsoever. It's like I am getting too soft because I got a gal now." Davis said to the manyl bartender Mark. "ahem.. honey.." Jane coughed angrily at Davis. "I.. uhm.. woops?" Davis asked patting the back of his head. "It's not what you think.. I mean.. uhm. I enjoy being with you.. but I am a fighting beast at heart." Davis continued. "So your heart does belong to fighting and not to me??" Jane asked anxiously. "I uhm... that's not it.. " Davis claimed. "Shouldn't we help him?" Rudolf asked John. "No, I'd like to see how far he digs himself into this mess" John replied with a smirk on his face. "That's it, i need a break from this!" Jane shouted, turned around and was walking away. "wait, where are you...?" Davis asked before Jane interrupted him "To the bathroom!" She said. "oh jesus christ! if looks could kill." Davis whispered as soon as Jane was gone.
"What a jerk." Jane said to herself and the mirror reflection of herself. "That's just how men are, sweetie" a voice behind Jane said. "Who.. who is there?" Jane said and looked in every corner of the bathroom. There was nobody here except her. "I am over here, silly" the voice said leading Jane to a small basket near the closet. "A pendant? I think the drink is getting to me already.. " Jane said to herself. "Worry not my dear, it's not the power of alcohol which confuses your mind, I am a magic pendant, here to protect you from any harm, if you just put me on!" the pendat spoke to Jane. "Aww.. what the heck, it looks beautiful, I might as well put it on" Jane said to herself. Somewhere deep inside the pendant a dark ghost started to smirk. Jane put the pendant on and looked at herself in front of the mirror. From this point on Jane had no more memories.
"You know what this reminds me off? The good old days. When Firen and Freeze were still around." Rudolf said to the other two. Rudolf, Davis & John were still sitting at the bar and had their fourth drink by now. Soon they started to talk about earlier days. "if.. if only I had been stronger.." Davis said to John, swinging his drink in front of John's nose. "I know buddy, but they would have ended up that way sooner or later" John claimed. "Why did they have to turn evil anyways?" Rudolf bursted out. "I guess it has to do with the twist in their minds. Firen and Freeze always had different points of view on everything. Firen was a similar hot-head like Davis, but Freeze always kept it cool. So even though they were brothers they were like shadow & light. I guess it's no wonder their combined mind turned wicked." John explained. "Hate to budge into yer smartassery, but isn't that ya chick ther, Davis?" Mark interrupted pointing at the entrance door. "Jane! Honey wait for me!" Davis shouted and ran after her.
On the other side of the entrance door Davis was finally able to catch up with Jane. "Look sweetie.. I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I'm a numbskull okay." Davis apologized. Jane turned around with an evil glim in her eyes. "Leave me alone, lowly human insect!!" She screamed and slaped Davis. Jane didn't stop there though, instead she kicked him back into bar with one sweep. "Rotten humans, I'll burn them alive" She screamed and laughed out loudly and then charged an dark aura in her right palm, just to fire it into the roof of Mark's bar. She kept laughing and laughing until she heard somebody behind her. "Pretty nice fireworks you got there, young lady." a dark mysterious voice said. "I assume you are most powerful evil being on this world?" the evil Jane asked. "I suppose you can say so. My name is Julian. And I have to admit, I actually have been looking for you, Nosferetta" the mysterious man said. "And what business would you have with me?" Nosferetta asked anxiously. "Well of course, conquering the world and no less." Julian answered with a big, evil grin on his face. "Very well, I'll follow you then" Nosferetta called out. "This way then, mylady"
At the same time I was still training in Julian's castle, I was determined to surpass him finally on this very day. "This trainings program is not enough for me anymore, though" I said to myself. "I can't let Julian know how much I have developed either" I thought while smacking the last of the virtual fighters Julian set up for me. Suddendly somebody knocked on the door to the training room. One of Julian's minions rushed in. "General Firzen, terrible news! Lord Julian returned with a human girl!" he said to me."Calm down, little fellow, what's wrong with him bringing anything here?" I replied to him. "If my information source is correct, it looks like he is bringing Jane with him!" Julian's minion cried. "Jane?? okay I'll check it out for you!" I replied furiously and rushed to the door.
"That idiot! What is he thinking??" I thought while i was running down the hall. Soon I came across a group of knights who were on their patrol. "General Firzen, what's the matter??" they asked me, but I simply ignored them. "Move it! I'll explain later!" I said to them. It didn't take me any longer until I reached the entrace gate. I made it just in time, Julian was already here. "my lord!" I said and thought "Jackass!" at the same time. "Ah.. Firzen, we have a little guest here which might just help us conquer the world in no time." "In all honesty my lord and excuse my rude behavior, but how can this b*tch be of any use to us?" I said with gleaming eyes. "My, my isn't he a charming one.." the one I without a doubt thought to be Jane said. "She is not what you think she is, Nosferetta a ghost keept prison for a long time, took this girl as her vessel." Julian said to me. I was surprised. So much I couldn't hide it. "Isn't he a cutie when he is surprised" Nosferetta said to herself. "I am not sure what you are talking about, but Firzen be on your guard, the idiot fighters will surely be on their way here. Hit'em where it hurts okay?" Julian ordered me. "Yes sir!" I replied.
Not very far away from Julian's castle Davis finally opened his eyes. "Ugh, where is this, what happened?" He said out loud. "Oh god, finally you are awake, we were ready for the worst! Oi guys, Davis is awake!" Louis cried out. Rudolf and John appeared from what seemed to be an entrance. "Where am I?" Davis asked. "Well you are currently in a tent near Julian's castle." John replied. "uhm.. so what exactly happened?" Davis asked again. "We are not exactly sure what happened but the facts are: Jane turned evil, blew up the bar, right after kicking you in there, then teamed up with Julian. We were just about to go in and get her back from there, when you came to." Rudolf answered. "I see.. so you guys actually carried me from Marks's bar to this place here? I gotta give you my thanks, leave the rest to me!" Davis replied with strong confidence. "That sounds like something an idiot like you would say." a voice up ahead said while coming close and closer. It was boy with grey hair and slick pants. "Dennis, I don't see how this is any of your business" Davis said to the grey-haired boy. "Sure but it's just another mess you get us into. Seriously you can't even keep your girlfriend under control, how are you going to defeat Julian? Are you blind?" Dennis said furiously to Davis. "I'm going anyways.." Davis said, stood up and left the tent. He was already running towards the castle's entrance when the others finally caught up to him.
I was the first one to spot them. A group of four people. Davis, Dennis, Rudolf & John. I had expected more of them, truly they are insane. "Heh you are either very brave or just particularly stupid to come here with this small number of fighters." I said to greet them. "Firzen you jackass! You will pay for everything today!!" Davis screamed. "Rudolf, John you go after Julian, let me and Davis handle him!" Dennis said to the other two. "As if I would let-" I tried to say but was interrupted by a furious Davis' dragonpunch trying to hit me. I had no time for a break, Dennis was already leaping at me from behind. Quickly I dashed away, only to come back once again to catch Dennis' leg. I threw him into Davis' face. "Damnit Dennis, watch it!" Davis screamed at Dennis. "Oh shut up, a**-face, like i wanted to land into you!" Dennis screamed back. "You guys are pathetic" I said to them. "I guess we have no choice, Davis" Dennis suddendly said with signs of remorse in his face. "Alright" Davis replied. They ran towards each other, both charging their energy to the maximum. Somehow this seemed terribly familiar to me.
"We are pretty close, I can already smell him" Rudolf said to John while both of them started to dash even faster. "Yeah, but remember, we just have to keep him busy, until those two defeat Firzen. Then we take Jane and get the hell outtta here." John replied. "My, my so Firzen is as incompetent as always." a voice said behind the two of them. "Julian! Prepare for the worst!!" John shouted. Rudolf already charged at him, both katana in his hands, ready to strike any minute. John formed an energy disk and threw it at Julian. Rudolf dashed but Julian was able to block it. John's disk however followed, quickly Rudolf jumped onto it and tried again, beheading the surprised Julian in the process. "Did we do it?" John cried out. "Very nice tactic, you just should have hit me with that." Julian said behind them and then knocked them down. It was an illusion, Julian's speciality no less.
After Dennis and Davis ran into each other, a new fighter appeared. "Ahhhhh, you can call me Woody. You are going to meet your end here, Firzen-boy" he said to me. I couldn't even react, he was so fast, and before I realized it I was already flying towards the wall. Before hitting the wall, I quickly catched myself. "Okay, eat this then! FIIIIIIIRZEN CANNON" I said and created a yellow beam with both my hands and shot it in Woody's direction. Woody's reaction was the least i expected. He kneeled down, and charged energy in his feet. "Tigerdaaaaash!!!" Woody screamed and unexpectedly was dashing through my beam. I had to evade it, so I broke up the beam. "Damnit, how persiestent can someone be" I said to myself. It was then when something unexpected happened. "Having fun, boys?" Julian said suddendly standing in the middle of us, holding Jane hostage. "Julian, what are you- " I started to shout at him. "She didn't obey me so I have to kill her now! AHAHAHA" Julian screamed and charged one of his skull blasts on her. "NOOOO JANE" Woody & I screamed. This was an akward moment. "Why did you-" Woody started to say, but I interrupted him and said "I don't even know that myself."
So we teamed up, I helped them getting Jane back. They broke the pendant, so I can never see Nosferetta again. This was the first time I experienced love. Pretty weird huh? What else would one expect from an unusual fighter's romance.
Lonely. One might feel like that along the journey to their dreams. I was no different, especially when one considers the 'special' circumstances my 'birth' has brought up. However there is something i found back then. Love. I never would have considered it, even if i knew how to deal with my problems. This is actually weird to talk about, but I might as well tell you the whole story. This is the story of an unusual fighter's romance.
In a dark, cold forest something very bizarre was about to happen. Following the path starting from the forest entrance one could see three shadows emerge. One bigger than the other two who stood pretty close together. The big shadow manifests itself into a big muscular guy, who pretty much looks like a demon of hell itself. The other two, a boy with spiky hair and a girl with tied-back hair, were closely watching every move of the demon. "Hand over the female and I may let you live!" the demon demanded. "I'll never let you lay a single finger on her... BECAUSE I LOVE HER" the boy replies. The girl behind the boy shrugs. "Oh... uhm, this is kind of akward... I see you more as a friend" the girl says.
"Oh screw this!" the boy screamed, taking two steps forward, and kicked the seemling hidden camera man off his seat. The camera man quickly leaped back while in mid-air, pulling out two katana. "Wanna fight, pretty boy?" the camera man whispered quietly. "Any time, Rudolf!" the boy with the spiky hair shouted. "Davis-honey, calm down, it's just a movie script" the girl said to the boy with spiky hair. "It's no use, Jane, he is out of control once again" the demon said, while he took off his head, revealing a blonde pack of hair ontop of a blue-eyed face. "Oi Louis, are you hitting on my girl again?" Davis raged. Louis, the blonde and charming one, just sighed at this rage outburst and took his leave.
"My, my, aren't we full of hot air again Mr. hot-head" a voice behind the group said. A femine character appeared right where Louis disappeared. "John.. you!" red-faced Davis mumbled. "Yes, yes I think we will call it quits for today and hit the next bar, that sound like a deal?" John asked Davis. "uhm.. I guess so." a surprised Davis answered. Everyone else agreed too. So the group of four continues quietly to the next bar.
"Oh haven't seen'n yer faces in damn long time,haven't I" Mark the bar tender greeted the group."Yo Mark ya old dog, still trainin' ya muscles?" Davis said to the big hill of muscles. "Ya know, even if I stopped fightin' a long time ago, mah muscles still have the big use for it!!" Mark said while handing over the drinks to Davis & the others. "I feel ya, I'm totally heated up for weeks now, no action whatsoever. It's like I am getting too soft because I got a gal now." Davis said to the manyl bartender Mark. "ahem.. honey.." Jane coughed angrily at Davis. "I.. uhm.. woops?" Davis asked patting the back of his head. "It's not what you think.. I mean.. uhm. I enjoy being with you.. but I am a fighting beast at heart." Davis continued. "So your heart does belong to fighting and not to me??" Jane asked anxiously. "I uhm... that's not it.. " Davis claimed. "Shouldn't we help him?" Rudolf asked John. "No, I'd like to see how far he digs himself into this mess" John replied with a smirk on his face. "That's it, i need a break from this!" Jane shouted, turned around and was walking away. "wait, where are you...?" Davis asked before Jane interrupted him "To the bathroom!" She said. "oh jesus christ! if looks could kill." Davis whispered as soon as Jane was gone.
"What a jerk." Jane said to herself and the mirror reflection of herself. "That's just how men are, sweetie" a voice behind Jane said. "Who.. who is there?" Jane said and looked in every corner of the bathroom. There was nobody here except her. "I am over here, silly" the voice said leading Jane to a small basket near the closet. "A pendant? I think the drink is getting to me already.. " Jane said to herself. "Worry not my dear, it's not the power of alcohol which confuses your mind, I am a magic pendant, here to protect you from any harm, if you just put me on!" the pendat spoke to Jane. "Aww.. what the heck, it looks beautiful, I might as well put it on" Jane said to herself. Somewhere deep inside the pendant a dark ghost started to smirk. Jane put the pendant on and looked at herself in front of the mirror. From this point on Jane had no more memories.
"You know what this reminds me off? The good old days. When Firen and Freeze were still around." Rudolf said to the other two. Rudolf, Davis & John were still sitting at the bar and had their fourth drink by now. Soon they started to talk about earlier days. "if.. if only I had been stronger.." Davis said to John, swinging his drink in front of John's nose. "I know buddy, but they would have ended up that way sooner or later" John claimed. "Why did they have to turn evil anyways?" Rudolf bursted out. "I guess it has to do with the twist in their minds. Firen and Freeze always had different points of view on everything. Firen was a similar hot-head like Davis, but Freeze always kept it cool. So even though they were brothers they were like shadow & light. I guess it's no wonder their combined mind turned wicked." John explained. "Hate to budge into yer smartassery, but isn't that ya chick ther, Davis?" Mark interrupted pointing at the entrance door. "Jane! Honey wait for me!" Davis shouted and ran after her.
On the other side of the entrance door Davis was finally able to catch up with Jane. "Look sweetie.. I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I'm a numbskull okay." Davis apologized. Jane turned around with an evil glim in her eyes. "Leave me alone, lowly human insect!!" She screamed and slaped Davis. Jane didn't stop there though, instead she kicked him back into bar with one sweep. "Rotten humans, I'll burn them alive" She screamed and laughed out loudly and then charged an dark aura in her right palm, just to fire it into the roof of Mark's bar. She kept laughing and laughing until she heard somebody behind her. "Pretty nice fireworks you got there, young lady." a dark mysterious voice said. "I assume you are most powerful evil being on this world?" the evil Jane asked. "I suppose you can say so. My name is Julian. And I have to admit, I actually have been looking for you, Nosferetta" the mysterious man said. "And what business would you have with me?" Nosferetta asked anxiously. "Well of course, conquering the world and no less." Julian answered with a big, evil grin on his face. "Very well, I'll follow you then" Nosferetta called out. "This way then, mylady"
At the same time I was still training in Julian's castle, I was determined to surpass him finally on this very day. "This trainings program is not enough for me anymore, though" I said to myself. "I can't let Julian know how much I have developed either" I thought while smacking the last of the virtual fighters Julian set up for me. Suddendly somebody knocked on the door to the training room. One of Julian's minions rushed in. "General Firzen, terrible news! Lord Julian returned with a human girl!" he said to me."Calm down, little fellow, what's wrong with him bringing anything here?" I replied to him. "If my information source is correct, it looks like he is bringing Jane with him!" Julian's minion cried. "Jane?? okay I'll check it out for you!" I replied furiously and rushed to the door.
"That idiot! What is he thinking??" I thought while i was running down the hall. Soon I came across a group of knights who were on their patrol. "General Firzen, what's the matter??" they asked me, but I simply ignored them. "Move it! I'll explain later!" I said to them. It didn't take me any longer until I reached the entrace gate. I made it just in time, Julian was already here. "my lord!" I said and thought "Jackass!" at the same time. "Ah.. Firzen, we have a little guest here which might just help us conquer the world in no time." "In all honesty my lord and excuse my rude behavior, but how can this b*tch be of any use to us?" I said with gleaming eyes. "My, my isn't he a charming one.." the one I without a doubt thought to be Jane said. "She is not what you think she is, Nosferetta a ghost keept prison for a long time, took this girl as her vessel." Julian said to me. I was surprised. So much I couldn't hide it. "Isn't he a cutie when he is surprised" Nosferetta said to herself. "I am not sure what you are talking about, but Firzen be on your guard, the idiot fighters will surely be on their way here. Hit'em where it hurts okay?" Julian ordered me. "Yes sir!" I replied.

We finally defeated Julian. Our fight through this deadly fortress was complete. We felled countless servants of the dark lord. Every fight was violent, bloody, painful. Blade against bone. Fist against steel. Flame against ice. Light against dark.
Gone are the days where we have to commit these brutal murders. We always told ourselves that "we fight to protect", but no matter what words we use to justify our actions, we are still taking peoples lives. There is no honor in killing. These soldiers of the dark lord were not willing servants; they were forced. Those that resisted were killed. They were merely fighting to survive. How then can we say, "we are good, and they are evil?"
But we had to take action. Stopping the dark lord meant destroying all that protected him, even if it meant taking lives, and we only did what was necessary.
The battle against the dark lord himself was horrifying. His power came from souls - souls that he absorbed from dying humans. Throughout the battle, each time we struck down a soldier, the dark lord would absorb the human's soul and use it to fuel his power.
But we held. We fought fiercely, persistently, ceaselessly, until the dark lord's power started to fail him. Our hope for a chance to end this war grew. It was an illusion that sealed the dark lord's fate. The one with the twin blades conjured images that proved a successful diversion on the dark lord, allowing the swordsman to land a fatal blow.
We finally defeated Julian. That is what we tell the world. But this is just a partial truth. We never revealed the event that happened after the swordsman delivered that fatal blow. This was always kept a secret, but now, while I am still sane, I must record the event that followed the dark lord's death.
As we fought our way through his army, he was made aware of our potential. Even if he defeated us, there would be others that would take our place, and others more to take theirs, and eventually he would expel much of his power destroying those that opposed him. Realizing this, he devised a cruel plan that would outlast his demise.
Unbeknownst to us, just before he died, the dark lord cast a spell, a spell that forces us to remember - to relive the pain, the agony, the heat of every battle that we fought.
Now, each night we are forced into endless nightmares - fighting, wounding, and rekilling every soldier that we once fought. The very peace that we strove to achieve was taken from us. Even as we spend our waking moments enjoying the glory of victory over the dark lord, every night we suffer, fighting in our minds every life that we have taken.
The dark lord's plan was to break our minds and drive us to insanity. Slowly but surely, we are being drawn into this abyss. We, once the hope of our people, are now being corrupted by the dark lord.

Three heroes
Julian was an evil human who was creating his army to become the ruler of many countries and maybe the ruler of the entire world. He lived in some mountains by some people; he lived in any lost village by some other, etc but none known where he was really hidden.
Many countries had their special forces who saved peoples from attacks of Julian’s solders. In one of the training camp of martial arts, there were three friends called Woody, Dennis and Davis. One day they were selected to develop a secret mission to kill Julian.
For that they receive a letter which contained mission details. Woody took the letter under the door of their room and said: “Hey guys! A letter! ”
-Let’s see what’s in it,-said Dennis and Davis in the same time.
On the envelope was written: “From: Government”! Their breath stopped. “Any order for disqualification! What could be it?!” Those ides was turning around their mind. Slowly Davis opened the envelope and started reading with half-voice. After completing reading, they were shocked and they needed 2-3 minutes to understand the context.
Tomorrow morning they started preparing. Before they left, Dennis said:
-Where are the keys?
Woody and Davis searched in their pockets, all around the room but they couldn’t find anything. It was a big problem. How they could lost. Dennis put his hand into his pocked just because of stress that had captured them and suddenly he touch a metal thing.
-What’s that metal here?-and put it out,-…seems these are keys,-said with a stupid smile on his face.
First thing that they should do was to go to monks to learn more about Julian. They were walking in a path in a forest when they saw 8 or 9 peoples.
-I’m sure they will help us to find any small hotel to sleep tonight,-said Woody.
When they come closer, Dennis, Woody and Davis said to them: “Hi guys! Can you help us to find a hotel?”
But they didn’t noticed knifes and clothes of them, so they didn’t understand that strangers were all bandits.
-Listen guys, “A hotel”,-said one of bandits and they laughed.
-Give us all money you have, if you want to be unharmed,-ordered one of bandits with his strait voice.
-What are you talking about?-asked the wonder-stricken Woody.
-Why are you so dumb?-said another bandit, while some of them became furious while some other laughed.
-Let’s give them a good hiding so they will understand!
In that moment our guys started running and running until bandits disappeared.
Walking about for about an hour and they arrived in a small town. Night had come and they needed a hotel to sleep. They asked someone to show them any hotel and he told that “Tiger” one of the best hotels was pretty close. Guys arrived to the hotel and were praising it by walking it from outside. But when they went inside, they learned they hotel was full of people. When they went outside, they asked somebody for a hotel and he showed they that just some meters away, there was another hotel called “Red Leaf”.
-That is what I call a good hotel,-said Woody while getting closer to the Red Leaf.
-Obviously this is better,-said Davis,-look its yard, flowers, trees, everything is perfect.
-We were lucky that we didn’t join that foolish “Tiger” hotel,-said the determined Dennis,-you could see that hall, and it was like built 100 years ago. And that dirty yard which sucks.
-Hello! We want a room only for tonight,-said the happy Woody to the reception.
-Eh, sorry, here is not any free room,-came the cold answer from the reception.
And the poor guys went out and started walking on the street. While walking near to “Tiger” hotel, somebody went out of hotel building, called them and said that there was a free room, because somebody canceled staying in hotel.
They run in it, happy as they found at least a bed to sleep.
Tomorrow morning they left the hotel, to continue their mission. They walked all day and in evening they arrived in monk’s temple. They were very tired, so monks said to them that learning about Julian would started tomorrow morning. While going to sleep, Dennis noticed something like a tiny pool with a weird liquid in it. “It should be any kind of thermal water, it would help me to relax, so I am waking up early in morning to stay in it, but I will not tell about this to Woody and Davis, because they may hog it beforehand then me”, Dennis was thinking.
Tomorrow, early in morning Dennis went to the “pool” and he was ready to enter in, when a voice came from the back:
-Don’t even think to enter there,-it was a monk.
-Why?-asked the wonder and the shocked Dennis.
-It would damage a lot your skin, we use for several things but we never touch it.
-Ok, I just wanted to put my foot in it to what was it, but I never thought to enter in,-said Dennis, even monk had understood everything.
Later Monks were learning them about Julian.
-Well, finding his location is hard but we have been making some magic stuff and we have found his location,-said one of monks.
-Well, can you show us the location here in this map?
-Yes, sure. Here in these mountains.
-What?!-said the disappointed guys,-We thought you have found the exact location!
-The exact location?-smiled monks,-The second thing that you should know,-continued one of them,-is that Julian use some small clones, which we call them “Justin”. The real Julian is huge, while Justin is roughly as tall as us.
After they learned some more techniques, they started going to mountains that they believed to find Julian. The first night captured them inside a forest. Even that they were prepared to sleep in forest. So they put some foods and other things out. After eating they were just ready to sleep, when a wind started and a strange noise was running in their ears. They had turned off the fire so they couldn’t see anything. Consternation had entered in their body. Thousand of thought were coming in their mind and the most horror idea was that noise would have something related to Julian. Fear had roped their mouths so they couldn’t say any word to each-other. They were imagining how death could be. After some minutes noise stopped, but even that they were not relaxed. Davis answered with a tiny voice if other was sawing anything. The answer was “No”. After about 10 minutes they switched on the electricity light and saw nothing strange around. They were walking around to see anything, when suddenly wind started and that scary noise came again. They noticed that some of their papers were blocked in a tree and it was just their noise. What a feel, passed through them. How could they be that stupid, to be scared from just some papers? Without saying any word they slept.
Tomorrow they were climbing the mountain, when they saw a black person with a mask.
-It’s Julian,-said Davis.
-Let’s go and make him an ambush,-said Woody.
And they started running until they arrived somewhere in the path, where they thought Julian would come. And the black person was walking in that path, when our guys stormed on him.
They was hitting him and shouting “Die Julian!” until they killed him.
-We completed the mission! We killed him! We are heroes!
They took the body to show it to monks in temple. Along they were discussing:
-Well, monk talked about clones, but as we didn’t saw any other clone, which means this is the real Julian,-said Davis.
-I’m sure that monk’s information is too old,-said quietly Dennis.
-Yea, as we saw there is not any clone, so clones do not exist anymore,-said Woody.
And so they arrived in monk’s temple.
-We have killed Julian!
-What?-said the suspicious monk who was outside.
-Yes, we will show to you his body.
-I don’t believe. Are you sure that he is not a clone? Is he that huge?
In that time a lot of monks heard the discussion and went out to see what was happening. Guys put the body in the land.
-Why are you so moron? This is just a Justin. Julian is huge! Did you listen? “Huge”!-said one of the annoyed monks,-Now go and don’t do bullshits.
Guys left the temple without saying a single word.
After some days they were noted that in a cave, there were people who were going in and out and some Justin too. They understood that it was Julian home. They observed it for some days and one night they came pretty close the cave. They were staying hide, when they noticed a huge person going out the cave. It was black, with red eyes and very tall. They understood that he was Julian! How tremendous he was!
After looking on him, a horrible voice came in their ears:
-Who is there? Whoever you are, I will kill you, - and he started coming toward them.
Woody, Dennis and Davis were terrified and started running away. Julian was following them. They entered into a cave. Julian was turning around to understand their direction. He noticed a cave and it was exactly the cave that guys entered in. Julian went in the cave. After walking around it, he noticed the hidden guys.
-It’s over!-he shouted,-I will not let you to leave alive.
-We are dead now.-said the desperate Woody,-I think it’s time to tell to each-other any secrets that we have been keeping.
-Well, if you remember that day Woody, that you money was disappeared…I stole them,-said Davis.
-This is not important anymore Davis, I have already forgive you…Those girls that you have known in internet…it was me all that time. I was kidding with both of you,-said Woody.
-I would totally forgive you if we would not die. I have had a secret relationship with your girlfriend Davis for about 2 or 3 months,-said Dennis.
-I don’t care about her since a long time. Also I don’t care anymore about that girl in internet-said Davis.
In that time Julian was creating a huge purple ball in his hands.
-Die!-he shouted.
And the big ball left his hands. But in fact it didn’t go that far. A rock was just some meters in front of Julian and ball hit it. The ball made a huge expose in front of Julian face after it hit the rock. After some minutes our guys put up their heads to see what happened. They noticed that Julian was not there anymore. They walked to the place that Julian was shooting the ball. All Julian body was destroyed. His arms, legs, head, body and blood were all around.
-It’s he really dead?-said Dennis.
-Are we still alive?-said the wonder Davis.
-Yes, we are really alive, this rock saved us,-said Woody.
They took some of his body parts as a proof that they really “killed” Julian. First thing was to go to monk’s temple as soon as possible because in the morning his army would go out to find Julian. After arriving there they showed parts of body and described him to monks. Monks accepted that they really had “killed” Julian. Anyways they told to monks the way Julian become dead and how lucky they were.
Later they received some awards from government for completing such important and impossible mission, even they told the truth of their “bloody battle”.
After some days:
-Davis, you have some money to give me,-said Woody.
-What money?-wondered Davis,-Oh, now I remember, you idiot were kidding me all the time in internet. Also you Dennis must pay for what you have done.
-I thought you didn’t care about her, as you said there in the cave,-said Dennis,-And you Woody are an idiot internet user.
And so they continued quarreling.
Julian was an evil human who was creating his army to become the ruler of many countries and maybe the ruler of the entire world. He lived in some mountains by some people; he lived in any lost village by some other, etc but none known where he was really hidden.
Many countries had their special forces who saved peoples from attacks of Julian’s solders. In one of the training camp of martial arts, there were three friends called Woody, Dennis and Davis. One day they were selected to develop a secret mission to kill Julian.
For that they receive a letter which contained mission details. Woody took the letter under the door of their room and said: “Hey guys! A letter! ”
-Let’s see what’s in it,-said Dennis and Davis in the same time.
On the envelope was written: “From: Government”! Their breath stopped. “Any order for disqualification! What could be it?!” Those ides was turning around their mind. Slowly Davis opened the envelope and started reading with half-voice. After completing reading, they were shocked and they needed 2-3 minutes to understand the context.
Tomorrow morning they started preparing. Before they left, Dennis said:
-Where are the keys?
Woody and Davis searched in their pockets, all around the room but they couldn’t find anything. It was a big problem. How they could lost. Dennis put his hand into his pocked just because of stress that had captured them and suddenly he touch a metal thing.
-What’s that metal here?-and put it out,-…seems these are keys,-said with a stupid smile on his face.
First thing that they should do was to go to monks to learn more about Julian. They were walking in a path in a forest when they saw 8 or 9 peoples.
-I’m sure they will help us to find any small hotel to sleep tonight,-said Woody.
When they come closer, Dennis, Woody and Davis said to them: “Hi guys! Can you help us to find a hotel?”
But they didn’t noticed knifes and clothes of them, so they didn’t understand that strangers were all bandits.
-Listen guys, “A hotel”,-said one of bandits and they laughed.
-Give us all money you have, if you want to be unharmed,-ordered one of bandits with his strait voice.
-What are you talking about?-asked the wonder-stricken Woody.
-Why are you so dumb?-said another bandit, while some of them became furious while some other laughed.
-Let’s give them a good hiding so they will understand!
In that moment our guys started running and running until bandits disappeared.
Walking about for about an hour and they arrived in a small town. Night had come and they needed a hotel to sleep. They asked someone to show them any hotel and he told that “Tiger” one of the best hotels was pretty close. Guys arrived to the hotel and were praising it by walking it from outside. But when they went inside, they learned they hotel was full of people. When they went outside, they asked somebody for a hotel and he showed they that just some meters away, there was another hotel called “Red Leaf”.
-That is what I call a good hotel,-said Woody while getting closer to the Red Leaf.
-Obviously this is better,-said Davis,-look its yard, flowers, trees, everything is perfect.
-We were lucky that we didn’t join that foolish “Tiger” hotel,-said the determined Dennis,-you could see that hall, and it was like built 100 years ago. And that dirty yard which sucks.
-Hello! We want a room only for tonight,-said the happy Woody to the reception.
-Eh, sorry, here is not any free room,-came the cold answer from the reception.
And the poor guys went out and started walking on the street. While walking near to “Tiger” hotel, somebody went out of hotel building, called them and said that there was a free room, because somebody canceled staying in hotel.
They run in it, happy as they found at least a bed to sleep.
Tomorrow morning they left the hotel, to continue their mission. They walked all day and in evening they arrived in monk’s temple. They were very tired, so monks said to them that learning about Julian would started tomorrow morning. While going to sleep, Dennis noticed something like a tiny pool with a weird liquid in it. “It should be any kind of thermal water, it would help me to relax, so I am waking up early in morning to stay in it, but I will not tell about this to Woody and Davis, because they may hog it beforehand then me”, Dennis was thinking.
Tomorrow, early in morning Dennis went to the “pool” and he was ready to enter in, when a voice came from the back:
-Don’t even think to enter there,-it was a monk.
-Why?-asked the wonder and the shocked Dennis.
-It would damage a lot your skin, we use for several things but we never touch it.
-Ok, I just wanted to put my foot in it to what was it, but I never thought to enter in,-said Dennis, even monk had understood everything.
Later Monks were learning them about Julian.
-Well, finding his location is hard but we have been making some magic stuff and we have found his location,-said one of monks.
-Well, can you show us the location here in this map?
-Yes, sure. Here in these mountains.
